I've watched this with my mum last year and apart from some of the historical/cultural inaccuracies that u mentioned, I've found it to be quite an interesting watch. I genuinely loved this article, and really appreciate the amount of work you've put into it. the casting options were really unique as well, and nicely thought through:))
I really loved this article, you did a great job explaining everything:))) and now that I come to think of it, most villains in k-dramas aren't born evil, society makes them evil and also due to other traumatic experiences in their lives
I had 4 dramas I've dropped, mainly cuz I was sick and didn't get a chance to finish it later. I'm currently finishing those 4 b4 going on to others:) cuz they were great, now that I've begun watching them again. I'm currently watching 'I hear your voice', up to episode 14 rn. BTW, List of dramas I've dropped (gonna restart all of them, from the beginning) 1) I hear your voice (in progress rn) 2) Goblin (kinda got boring, but maybe cuz I wasn't exposed to the fantasy genre yet, gonna still restart again) 3) Ms Hammurabi (idk why I dropped this:) It was so good, now that I think abt it) 4) Misaeng (I was sick during this, and my sister watched it without me, so I just forgot)
