Nah, not bias... its really a gem...Bias ratings will be QOT... like have people seen the drama... its soooo long…
I agree with your opinion of QOT. I have to force myself to watch one episode bc they're so long. But with each of LR eps I keep checking to see how much time is left bc I don't want it to be over. IMO LR is a much better show with more likable characters.
I came here just to say this show is definitely not getting enough buzz. It is so good. I can't stop watching. There are no dull or draggy moments. I'm genuinely sad that it is not getting talked about the way some other not quite as good dramas this year have been. ๐๐ But it's all good bc at least I found it and got to watch this excellent drama
As I read from many comments before, My Dearest copied some elements from Gone with the Wind and made it into…
I agree with your assessment of my dearest. I did however finish it but not bc I was enjoying it. Mostly bc I felt the pressure by everyone else loving it. I love historical dramas and everything that comes with them so I'm pretty open to tropiness etc. But no matter the drama I can't take when the leads drag out their relationship, which my dearest kept doing which made it difficult to enjoy. I hope this one doesn't do this but goes more like 100 days my prince
TBH itโs clear to me that his plan is to find who is behind the poison, punish them and bring back his nephew…
Completely agree with this comment. I really don't understand all of the other posts where people are mad that he "changed" and can't believe he betrayed the FL. He clearly did what he had to do to take the throne. He didn't have the "prisoners" killed, nor did he have his nephew killed which most kings would. He understands what he's up against. Which I think that's why he spent the three years acting out getting drunk etc. Bc the throne and the politics of it all is too much. He has to push his true self down so much just so he can uncover what really happened to his brother and take care of the nation.
Or Joseon Taeha could've stayed dead (sorry Taeha), he didn't deserve to suffer like that. There are other ways…
I could have some how comforted myself with that if they gave us some indication that we present or remembered by the Korea Tae Ha, but we didn't get that. All we got was Josean Tae Ha dreaming of his future life and hoping that he'd get to be with Yeon Woo then.
Just finished the finale and I'll say it's the best the writers could seemingly do. They wrote themselves into a corner by having 2 exceptional Tae Ha's. Fans want Yeon Woo to be with them both. I'm somewhat satisfied but also don't really think it's a HE. Overall I absolutely loved this drama and hope to see both leads in other projects this year.
what kind of twistvwas that at the end? the end of ep 11 they show the husband die again but in next episode's…
Agreed on all points. This was such a filler eps. I ffwd through so much. But I'm a little sad that her Josean Tae Ha who clearly loved her too doesn't get to be with her as well. At least it seems so. If he hadn't been murdered on their wedding night I'm sure they would have been happily married and she would have loved him as much as the modern Tae Ha.
I will definitely vote for the couple from park's secret marriage contract. I know, I know the couple from my dearest...but to ME they weren't as romantic as the couple from PSMC. They didn't give me the oooh!!! feels. It was more like awe the sadness.
Idk how this show already has ratings when it's not even finished yet. I kinda want to give a rating just to help boost it bc it is incredible television, but I still think it would be unjustified to give it a 10 when I haven't even finished it either. Nevertheless at this point halfway through it is a masterpiece in filmmaking.
My interpretation was that they had too much baggage. The point of the FL's 19th life was to solve this endless…
I agree completely in fact if they had found a way to magically be together I would have been upset. Bc it would not make sense to totally disregard Han Joo's life and let Do Ha stay in his body like that. Do Ha should have been long gone. AHE simply doesn't make sense especially when that's not what the premise of the show was about. It was about the longing and clearing up the past mistakes. IMHO
Why oh why was the lead actress rendered useless in terms of physical strength towards the end of the show. In…
I thought the same thing. It was so annoying. It's like the writers expect us to have forgotten that she was a bodyguard who supposedly could fight. She took on 3-5 bad guys on her own. But now all of a sudden she can't run from one dude with out tripping and falling and fighting back at all. It was infuriating. She has zero survival skills suddenly.
everything about this drama is chefs kiss ๐ฅน the plot, the script, the cast, the ost and obviously the ending.…
I agree I'm actually happy that we're staying to get more 12 ep shows. It helps them tell the story more quickly without all of the obnoxious flashbacks to fill time and episodes.
Have you seen Flower of Evil yet? It's a bit longer than this but it's reeeeaaalllyyy good. One of my favorites.…
I agree flower of evil bus really really good. It's a different genre for sure, but will leave you wholly and completely satisfied after you for the ride with the characters just like this show did
Most of the ones that linger in my mind either make me feel like I'm apart of their world like twinkling watermelon therefore I miss them or have such extreme trauma such as SLS I'm looking at you reply 1988 and BOF that my mind can't help but wander to them
But it's all good bc at least I found it and got to watch this excellent drama
