great question. till the end of the moon is my favorite. I love the angst of Tantai Jin. I've rewatches it three times.

I just finished watching ep 30 and found myself thinking of LLTG several times in the past two eps. Lol and behold it's the same writer as LLTG. There are definitely some shared undertones in themes and character motivation. I totally see part of my favorite general Ling Bui in Xi Zheng. LLTG is my 2nd favorite c-drama and I wonder if PoJ is going to be able to reach that same level of perfection. Ten more episodes for me to find out.

I absolutely loved everything about this drama. The song from the OST that plays whenever our leads are having a moment will live rent free in my head for the next six months. I smiled so much in the last ten minutes of this episode that my face actually hurt. It's so rare the a drama sticks the landing for me. And this one totally did.
I don't have any issues with them not showing more of them in the present, bc I felt like the ML/FL brought more of their presents selves to their final moments together in the book. By using each other's real names and speaking about how they would be in the real world.

Other transmigration stories left me feeling like I had to have more in the present world like a dream within a dream or when Destiny brings the demon or guardians of the dafeng. But this one didn't do that to me

not necessarily. it is an open question even for Eunho as to what she saw regarding Siyeol's fate. bc she saw him being poor and not successful and WeSoek being famous, which is in fact the fate that they're in now. When that fate didn't originally happen she even questioned if what she saw was finally wrong for the first time. in turns out what she saw was still correct. From what I'm seeing the show hasn't really made it explicitly clear what the original "true" fate was. Was her premonition of things to come after she twisted their fates or was it of what was supposed to be had the accident not occurred?

I like most of the commenters B4 me am annoyed with the way the final two eps was editited. I ffwd through so many of Go-eun's scenes including her date with I-Geon yes he's clearly hot and deserves screentime. but I would have enjoyed seeing more of how him and Ha-eun became such good friends rather than more scenes of him and Go-eun.
Also I needed way more scenes of Min-Gee and Sueng-Il. I know I'm biased but they were my ship from day 1. After all of the mental energy and angst the PDs decided we didn't deserve to see any of their dating era. I'm so annoyed 😠

I completely agree. I didn't steal anyone's fate. The circumstances changed and he made his fate what it was out of hard work. Not to mention that we don't really know if what Eun Ho saw in her vision was the original fate or the 2nd fate. She only saw that Hyen Seok would be famous not when or how.

this is helpful. bc TTEOTM is my second favorite c-dramas only barely after LLtG. as much as I adore the ML in Shadow Love I haven't been able to force myself to pick it back up after ep 8. I have watched four other dramas since I paused SL. but still keep coming back to it in case I gave up to fast. but if what you said is true then it makes sense. I have found the plot a little boring for SL. I never once felt that with TTEOTM. in fact everything about the plot and story of TTEOTM IMO is addictive.

I've seen all of these as well except moonlit reunion. I would definitely go with fated hearts or love in the clouds first. both equally entertaining watches followed my LoFG and SL that way you can watch the ML in back to back dramas.

Idk, I don't get why so much disdain for the ending. I literally put off watching this for so long bc the non-spoiler reviews plus even my AI chatbot said the ending is controversial and fans don't like it. I loathed when a drama doesn't stick the landing for whatever reason such as rushed at the end, loose ends that don't make sense etc. But I didn't get any of that other than the silly illusion the princess has at the end. Which was annoying or frustrating but more eye rolling than anything.
I guess I'm built different in not needing to have a HE. In fact sometimes the unrealistic HE is what frustrates me with some dramas. There are never really any high stakes bc you know no plot armor plot armor for the ML/FL bc we gotta have a HE. Those kind of dramas don't really make me feel anything bc sometimes they feel unearned. This ending felt realistic to me. They were under untenable circumstances. To me I would have yawned at the Wu emporer showing up at the exact right moment to save our ML and the FL.
I do agree however that it did feel like some of the last episodes between 30-40 were unnecessary and this show probably would have been better off telling the story with 36 eps. But I really can't wrap my head around why this show's ending has so much hate. There have to be viewers out there like myself who appreciate a great story that makes you care for the characters, their development and relationships and that makes you willing to go on the journey while loving every moment of it no matter how it ends.

Same. I can't say I love him. but I do really like his character. The comments are great reminders to me how we all can see the world and people/characters differently.

Yes those two masterpieces are different but if I had to rank them. LLTG is definitely superior to this and PoB although different delivers on the same level of watch ability and character development as well comedic side characters.

That's exactly the same place where I became exasperated with the FL as well. But was determined to finish bc of the ML's acting

I know I'm not fully caught up on this drama as others may be. Currently watching ep 23, but I had to pause to come here to see if I'm the only person who would have totally given up on this drama if it weren't for NanHeng our ML. The FL is annoying me more than I can tolerate. At first I appreciated her resolve for trying to avoid the fate of the script, but now it doesn't even feel like that's really what she's doing. Most of her actions make no sense. YiTing is also really annoying. Forcing herself onto Mr Li after he repeatedly rejected her, to the point where she's willing to drug/r@pe him. Makes absolutely no sense for a character the story has tried to convince the viewers is super intelligent and progressive in her thinking 🤔.
Now don't get me wrong bc I'm totally sucked in and will keep watching but 100% bc of Liu Yu Ning's performance. He deserves a back rub for the way he's carrying this drama

Eternal love AKA the ten mile peach blossom has this kind of love you're looking for. And IMO so much better executed.

I got the Dr*g cases mixed up for a bit too. I thought they were talking about the candy looking ones at first then remembered this show had the patches

I agree with you. The reasoning doesn't make any sense other than for it to be a plot devices which makes it even more annoying. The writers couldn't come up with a better reason for the characters to do this stupidness. They could have tried telling him and then having the GP still not care or shoot it down bc he just wants to marry FL. That would make more sense. Considering how unreasonable he is being simply over this girl.

I think it was the taxi driver the first time as well. Bc they showed someone came to his door and then the next thing was him falling into the pool. I don't believe Sun Jae ever committed suicide in any timeline.

I agree I'd rather this and the way it's done than some of the other contrived plot devices that we always get which inevitably breakup the lead couple and then they find their way back to each other.
