But the hero's journey about development, not just to find some answers against or next to somebody! There is no character development! Just watch the first and the latest episode and you will see, without the sadness, nothing happened with his (unhealthy) mindset. It is beautiful as you write it down, but it was poorly shown in the drama! Okay, but I didn't talk about the priest case, but what he didn't do when he had to as an individual and a judge! And that one wasn't his first time! GO can't think almost anything about anything, and that was proven over and over again. He says what others said to him. He can be easily manipulated and if somebody else told him another thing, he just believes in the other's truth, because it seems more plausible for him for some reason, without any real evidence. As I wrote: "Neglectful behavior and ignorance are way more worse and he uses them as an excuse." If the makers think everybody thinking like him or should thinking as him, it is way more destructive and pretty bad.

The writer wanted to show GO the "hope" but he doesn't seem like that. As I said before: He is one of the most hypocrite character in the whole show. I can't see how can anybody call him as the "hope of this dystopian world". It's nonsensical! He is as bad as every other characters. Neglectful behavior and ignorance are way more worse and he uses them as an excuse (for example: in the latest episode, in library scene with YH when he confronts YH about the old man. He either didn't do anything or said just watched it for a while than knelled down and closed his eyes). For the first time, with YH after that with the prof and again with YH. He is clearly not so good person but he pretend to be one and the writer want us to think about him like this way. And that's sad. :( I know, he i just a human! Most of the characters are underdeveloped, badly- or under-written and this is the biggest problem! I'm glad You enjoyed it! :D I am sick and tired of the "just good" or "just evil" characters. What is interesting about them? My favorites are the more morally grey characters too (anti-hero, dark hero, even well-written antagonist), but motivations and right characteristics (maybe well-written backstories depend on the story) are the most important things if we talk about these type of roles. The prof was so sus in ep 14. The things he said and how he said them... And that background music for a little moment, and his tiny smirk, when he talked about SY's fate. And he knew that, she found Joseph and have her note theoretically! Interesting!
This drama is so underrated! Why everybody compere it to The Guest? I can't understand. They are two different type of stories and genre. The only common theme between them is the exorcism. Priest was pretty good. I enjoyed it from the beginning till the end. The story was good, characters were interesting, the possessions were creepy. I don't mind the love story because it was the core of the show, and maybe for the first time, it seems a little off, but later, turns out what was the function of it. And the plot twist was one of the best and well bulid up. You can feel from ep 5., something is off, and that weird feeling just grow with every single episodes until the plot twist. Even the atmosphere changed too much to be random. I recommend this show for everybody, especially, who loves horror stories with supernatural plot.
And yeah, Yohan is not actually evil lol it's just your typical 2021 drama anti-hero. I really doubt they are…
