I met some interesting comments. For example: "The Oz plot is out of blue, just mentioned from ep xy. Poor writting!" and the "How can be xy alive when z killed him in ep 3? It doesn't make any sens!" and so on... So I mean this way the plot holes if not pay attention to everything.
Criminally underrated! However I can't blame anybody who doesn't like it. If you don't pay a lot of attention even to the smallest things, you will lost and think: it is a mess with so much plot holes and stupid decisions. It's a hard drama to watch and the amount of characters makes it more harder. A notebook fit well with this series. It became my favorite psycho-thriller k-drama with its complexity. It is well-made and well-written but not for everybody. Who don't mind blood, violence, dark themes and world, just start it! This drama is unique in its genre. More in my review with some spoilers!
I think this series is the most overhyped and overrated one what I've seen yet. The plot was good until the hospital scenes (ep 6-7). After that part It became a much common late 2000's telenovella. The acting is very good and there are some interesting characters, mainly from the dark side (the family) expect the sister. The cinematography is beautiful and the soundtrack is excellent. But the story and the rest of the characters are mediocre. FOR ME, Baek Hee Sung' s character was so disappointing because I saw this type of character in three another series (Born Again, IC, IOTNBO) at the same year before that was on-going and one of them with almost the same twist and fate in Born Again except the reincarnation story line. And I've not mentioned the plot holes and stupid decisions. It's 5,5 out of 10 from me, and I am very gentle to this series.
