From the start to the end , we watched ML dying and coming back. He was demon but I don’t think he really was. I can understand they tried to show that Ml is a green flag but it was really boring to watch. ML /FL enemies to lovers trope failed. Their interactions with each other during their “lovers” period was meh. O didn’t get any tension between them. Bai Lu is a great actress but trying to shine Bai Shuo every time was draggy. ML/ FL love story was simple and ordinary. There was nothing new.

SML and SFL was nice. I am more interested in their complex relationship than main cp. Apart from their childhood connection , their “ evil’s vessel and the bow that kills evil” love story was great to watch. Their first enemies to lovers story was also nice. Seeing that how CZ and Fu Ling changing sides step by step made me keep watching this show. Their love era was short. I would love to watch them more.

Kudos to the actress and the actor who played two opposite characters. I could feel the difference between CZ/Mo Li , Fu Ling/ Ba Xi. Especially CZ facing Mo Li made me feel like I am watching LBFD’s last episode.

The thing I dislike most was killing almost every character except FL. I know it is a xianxia drama but it was unbearable to watch. The ost was awesome btw. I added most of songs to my playlists.
