So much controversy around the director and I get why but after seeing some of his masterpieces, I think the same. He’s a brilliant director and he’s got some great attributes at story telling but it’s a shame he’s always caught in some sort of discord with netizens.
I think the casts wouldn’t have supported it and starred in it if they didn’t think there was potential in a story like this. Esther definitely showed us some new light too in her acting because of this. 😍

A different director might mean different things for the show. The reason it’s as good as it is, is cause the story is written by the same director. His works all seem to be alike. I don’t think another director can come in halfway and try and make it look good when he’s working off someone else’s material. It’s never an easy task.
I say be careful what ppl ask for, this could all backfire with a season 2 if it’s not produced the way we all envision. Too many cooks in the kitchen and it’ll just be distasteful.
I think it ended fine and a cliffhanger is not uncommon but not the way we wanted it to end. So many questions left unanswered but I reckon there’s more to it. I feel like we’ll get a surprise episode of some sort to close it up. The express episodes might not have been intended as part of the schedule.
