Overall, the show kept me on my toes. I was in a rather unhealthy mental state because of how obsessed I got so I might need to detoxify after this 😂 but I’ve had a great two weeks chatting, reading all your theories and let’s see each other for the next show ey?

Ep 23: I take it back. 22 was great for the fight scene we knew was going to happen. 23 was kinda great seeing ZY and SJ put the pieces together and how everyone else was ever so slightly involved.
I’m happy knowing our guess about the brothers was right all along.
A real shame with SJ and SQ but 🤷🏻♀️ But the ending fight scene with ZY and YWS was also pretty cool. I loved that their moves were a compliment to each other.
Ep 24 Was a nice touch to try and close every pair off. Though a bit rushed.
I loved that we get to see the brotherly bond we were dying for between SJ and ZY, I love that you see YZ and ZS a bit more light hearted.
Did SGQ just get to be free? I assume that’s her then.
ENDING: I honestly thought it was worse than it seems based on what ppl were saying. Personally an open ended cliff hanger means there’s opportunity for a spin off. But there might not be any season 2. It was possibly done as a preparation for it.
On the flip side, if they had closed it off with a HE or SE, people would say they want more. 🤷🏻♀️
So this way, if there was a valid opportunity like the show did well, people loved it, the cast wanted to come back.. then the directior would have a solid plot line to start from.
OR, maybe he just really wants to leave it to the viewers imagination. It’s not uncommon and it sucked, but imagine if he had genuinely made his ending in a way that ppl didn’t agree on - many might complain that his idea was shit. (Probably ppl still do) but this way, you can put the responsibility on yourself however you want to see it end. 😂
So I don’t think it’s bad, it’s just not what we were expecting.
My assumption is that YWS comes back either with wufeng having her hostage or she comes back butchered or it’s her twin that comes back to deliver the bad news that she didn’t survive. Cause surely the YWS we know would have defended herself all the way. Her twin was merely a hostage.
But also- the twin thing I admit was stupidly added and he could have come up with a diff background story but oh well. 🥲
Either way I still rate this a 8.5-9 just by the actors, visual affects, fight choreography, soundtrack, and costume etc. I can’t wait to see more from our child actor and Ryan Cheng and the actor who played YZ and JF.. I think there are still some highly commendable traits of the show despite the ending.

Hahaha! I’m saving the last 1.5 episodes I couldn’t finish last night for today. I’m really hoping it’s not as bad as people have been saying. I’m sure there’s a reason for why he did so. 😂

That’s what I was wondering (I haven’t seen it yet) but I mean, are peoples judgement on the ending a bit harsh? I think for that to affect the overall score? It’s not uncommon for there to be a third possible ending 😂
Left the last two episodes for today.. now I’m not sure if I want to see it 🙈😆 everyone’s put me off…
Honestly I don’t think I would mind it being a cliffhanger. I think he wanted you to be left guessing as to what could happen IN CASE there was an opportunity for a season 2. Which i wouldn’t hold my breath for. It’s super rare in the industry and his second movie didn’t even get released 😂

My favourite yet. Everything started to fall into place. And agreed the fight scenes were 👌🏻

The showdown we knew was going to happen. This was probably one of the best episodes in the season. Finally putting a lot of pieces together. Hanya si’s death though expected, was still very touching.
Just going by ppls dissapointment for the ending, I’m sure the director had a reason for it. I’m yet to see it myself but not all shows have happy endings right. 😅 what made it seem like this one was going to be one? The whole series has been keeping us on our toes lol.
