LOL episode 43 - the mandarin ducks and chicken argument while trying to be serious is hilarious. Also, I'm REALLY hoping Consort Yue doesn't end up being evil or something. It's SO lovely to see both the consort and empress get along so nicely!
I think they do, they're just not as forward about it as other couples
The trailers for 24 indicate some jealousy but I assume they won’t admit it to each other. It’ll probably happen when it’s too late and regrettable 😂 makes for a good plot
In Asian custom mandarin ducks are associated marital happiness / couples etc. It is said they mate for life so…
That’s what I thought thinking it was a sweet representation but I suppose for war- not so much 😂 but that whole dialogue was hilarious, he was trying to keep such a straight face
I’m finally up to date with the episodes and episode 41 is my absolute favourite 😍
The way she tries to sneak in and the way he sneaks up on her and all that talk about the future; my gosh, Wu lei has this really soothing voice. My ovaries nearly exploded.
And somehow between all that, I couldn’t help but laugh- can someone explain the mandarin ducks/chicken wings thing on his armour? Why was it embarrassing?
Gosh next weeks trailers.. 😬 why do I smell the end of their engagement coming real soon?
But I only just caught up to episode 38 and my gosh, I finally understood why people said they couldn’t decide to laugh or cry or smile. Lol the scene of the two of them was just 🥹👌🏻
Getting a little impatient now and would like to see her start to acknowledge her feelings for him. 36 episodes isn’t that long but I hope they don’t drag it out. When does it get to the really sweet parts?! 😍🫣
