Yes but aside from that it's such a great drama, you have to watch it. I noticed these suicide scenes are common…
It doesn't lol. There are some kdramas that revolve around mental health/ suicide but generally in kdramas it's taken lightly which it shouldn't. True beauty is just one drama and it has problematic aspects too ( I do not have issues wid the plot true beauty is one of my fav dramas ) and as a person whose actually suffering from mental health issues myself I find it tone deaf . And the fact that korea is a country with high suicide rates makes it worse, yes it's a short scene but it's a mainstream kdrama and the effect it has on young teenage mentalities is real. It's also that any form of representation with suicide shouldn't be mocked it's not a joke.
This relationship wasn't healthy from the beginning.. it startes with r*pe and it's honestly kinda disgusting how it's romantized and the series seems rushed.. I understand that they tried to fit a whole novel into 3 eps but honestly it feels like we're missing something.. the thing we see is mark being all happy with vee then already a year passes without even a detail , it just doesn't feel very real at that point. I'd give this drama 4/10 acting was okay there is space for improvement but honestly acting was pretty decent.. but I was really done at the first ep.. I'd not recommend watching it honestly but the only reason anyone should watch it is cause of yinwar's acting.. there's nothing special in this then them lol

It does look like it's a geniunely good drama but I feel like it's unhealthy to make suicide look fun right? Yea I have noticed that too.. I hope they take mental health into consideration going forward cause suicide is a sensitive topic which shouldn't be misrepresented
Okay but can we talk about how this show made suicide look like it's for fun? There are actual people struggling with these issues , I saw the first ep nd it was like the dropping point for me..
Season 1 was a obvious bop but I watched season 2 specially for tincan and ,boy was I confused, I got so confused that I had to do some research and continue to watch the series , I had no idea why tincan story was being retold like it never happened in the first place, the timelines were so messed up and then there's ae and pete's story where pete doesn't even appear once in the whole series ( like I get that you have problems with the cast) but we atleast expect a little for the main couple(S1) , ae was heartbroken till the end until pete was back but it felt empty , I understand that there may have been problems but the season was kind of disappointing , hard to understand, this story had alot of potential but it was directed and casted poorly (just the timeline part I really liked the scenes ) but for the good part I really liked tincan's story even tho I was confused , I absolutely fell in love with this couple and it was tincan for me who persuaded me to watch the whole season despite the confusion, overall I'm glad I watched it and would give it a 5/10 , if you like tincan's story go for it and watch it :)
