I don't see SFT as being jealous of NYS though. He hates NDY but I think he is ambivalent to NYS. I see SFT becoming allies/friends/... later with NYS because he is open to changes like that.

I know. Sigh. Just watched ep19 and ep20 raw and felt so let down by his inaction. NYS you can see you father is making bold big moves that are wrong, you say you don't want to fight for custody, and yet stand aside when you father does... it's inconsistent. Do something to make sure TanJin can be assured.
Tan Jin can see he loves her, and can maybe even trust him, but she cannot rely on him or depend on him. And I think she also knows he is fragile and does not want him caught in the middle so she will fight the battle with or without him, it's up to him to chose a side because not choosing makes him automatically on his fathers side...
