Okay I finished and the ending felt rushed? And I have questions. First of all, how long was Mu in Bangkok before…
Yep I agree that the ending is very rushed. I am not sure about the years part. Reason why they didn't tell her dad that they're getting married was prob becuz the ending was just too rushed that's why they did not mention anything about it. Iirc Lightning was lost/ missing in Thailand and Mu just accepts that fact that the dog was lost but eventually she realise that the dog was being raised by Zhao (the fully grown dog at the cafe) cuz he couldn't bear to like 'abandon' it in a way. That's also why the dog went up to her and lead her to the cafe that Zhao opened. it sniffed a familiar scent (owner).
Hi! I wanted to ask about the diminutive forms of Chinese names. Is there any difference between using "Xiao"…
There are no rules as all these terms is just to show the informality / when you try and be friendly/ 'flirting' / being 'playful'
From what I know in the past the term Ah is usually paired with surname. Now as long it sounds nice can alr. It can be surname/ part of your name
Orrr in simpler terms, it's like a nickname eg. Zhou Fei Ah Zhou Ah Fei Xiao Zhou Xiao Fei Zhou'er Fei'er
Sometimes some of the names above sounds weird (cuz of pronounciation or meaning of words) , so most prob ppl will just call her name by Ah fei, xiao zhou, xiao fei.
So it really depends on the name and which one you can use it
