The new take on Shamanism is fresh and furious
The journey of Fairy Cheon Ji has reached its culmination after a roller coaster ride.
A month back, we met a shaman who was busy saving people from spirits and managing her school. Her spirit mother gave her a normal life during the day which her biological parents snatched from her. She befriended Ji Ho and found her first love in Gyeon U. The mushy and quirky take of ghosts and life enroute through psychological issues.
There are 3 reasons that you should try this drama.
Not the cliche ghost drama
It is not a cliche ghost drama. Here the shaman has reached this level at a young age. This is because she has always been a shaman in her entire life. She hates it often, but does not want to deny it.
Romance has softly taken the back seat
They are in school. This is the time when people develop crushes, fall in and out of love. They find their dreams and very often change what they really want to be in their life. The director kept that rawness alive till the last scene.
A cute bromance and a soft love triangle
Though Ji Ho and Gyeon U, both are in love with one girl, that did not stop them from becoming friends with each other. They always had each other’s back despite their heart beating for Fairy Cheon Ji.
Jo Yi Hyun has done a terrific job in portraying the role of a young shaman. After her stellar performance in All of us are Dead, the girl has been deeply missed. Chu Young Woo is the new blue eyed boy of the town. This tall brooding man has been winning hearts with different meaty roles that are establishing him as a strong actor of the next league. Cha Kang Yun has deeply amazed the audience with his strong support. The chemistry between the trio is more fiery and layered. It brought the story alive successfully.
It is our mind that always makes things wrong. And the journey proved it repeatedly.
