I don’t usually watch historical Chinese dramas…it’s not a genre I gravitate toward often. The Prisoner of Beauty is actually only the second one I’ve ever watched in my life. But wow… it completely took me by surprise in the best way. This drama is honestly a work of art. From the storytelling to the visuals, everything was so beautifully done. The plot kept me hooked, and the emotional depth really touched me. I wasn’t expecting to feel so connected to the characters, but the actors brought them to life in such a raw and genuine way. They’ve left a soft spot in my heart that I know won’t fade anytime soon.
There’s something special about the atmosphere of this drama…the way it blends beauty and heartbreak, strength and vulnerability. It felt real, even though it’s set in a different time. I’m so glad I gave it a chance.
well well well we've come to the end of it , such a bittersweet feeling again.. because I was caught up with the drama and characters for past 2 and half weeks... I mean whatever the story was.. i just watched it without that much of thinking.... loved the bromance though... I will miss them ... there i said it...
