Yes, the chemistry could've been better, there were huge gaping plot holes, and the mystery part could be a lil bit more mysterious. However, it wasn't exaggerated, the support characters did really well enough for you to not want to skip or fast forward their bits. It's a fun watch, light and cute. For somebody who's having a bad day and is looking for something new and feel good to start with, this drama would do it.
-a cdrama with sane leads, that do not throw a tantrum at every little inconvenience -yes, it can get a little draggy, boring at the end, but has a great plotline -only wished for ah xiang to have a character development as well, rather than being a chu li's side piece -surprisingly less to none melodrama -also I'd rather watch a drama w female lead whose voice is high pitched but sane, than someone who behaves like an air head for a 20 something woman
Yeah, I felt the finale kinda awkward. Maybe they left it to make us expect a season 2.
Honestly, I'm not looking forward to a second season. I only kept watching for the gaming scenes, not that I know anything about gaming but the animation was pretty fun to watch.
Was it only me who found the ending so abrupt? They kept talking about winning the world championship which they got the ticket to but then what? That's it? And the main couple?? They progressed so well throughout the drama and?? T_T
This c-drama is a hidden gem. Loved how all the characters turned out in the end. Of course Mi ya's existence is frustrating, but it helped greatly with the Qiu Ying's character development. But honestly, I could have lived without Mi ya's obsessive ex routine in the last few episodes, made her look crazy. Usually, I struggle to get through the episodes in a c-drama, but this changed my opinion. Need more content like this.
While I admit the couple was good, the plot holes were so big nobody could miss them. The whole robot combat concept was great but what ever happened to team solo??!! Weren't they supposed to be the foundation of the whole storyline? Everything was so focused on the main couple, it almost seemed like they had nothing to do but stare at each other and as a matter of fact that was all they did. Honestly, GGS1 was way better, although the FL was a 12 y/o child and the reason for the team splitting up was weird, there wasn't a dull moment or an intense urge to stop watching it.
This drama is an utter mess. Still don't understand why team solo disbanded, because solo had a child and responsibilities? Lol. To top it off there was the terrible FL. What was she supposed to be, a hormonal teenager or a 19 y/o post grad student?

Plot-wise it was really good, but they could have worked on main leads character development.
