In the novel the FL visits the ML again 3 years later to return the watch that she took from him because the lawyer blind date of the FL said the watch is an expensive limited edition … but in the drama they changed it looking at the scenes from the ost of the drama … i think the ML was at the building where the FL is working as a radio dj and he heard the FL on the broadcast so he went to see if it was the FL he heard. In the drama as well the ML regains his eyesight as well which is different from the novel were he remains blind.

From the novel they breakup from a misunderstanding … the ML father married the close female friend of the ML from childhood that he liked … the FL thought that the ML was still in love with his past love … and also the FL dad died as well so the ML doesn't have the any guts to face the FL anymore
