Article If The Woman Behind The Counter was a J-Drama
Growing up in Eastern-Europe during the Communist regime, we were introduced a lot of Czech TV series and movies. I remember the days we watched "Women Behind The Counter". To be honest, it was a disappointment. It could not come even close to "Hospital at the Edge of the Town" which was and still is one of the best TV series I have ever seen. I would also highly recommend Jirzi Menzel's films from the Czech palette. His works are awesome. WBTC aged terribly. As for a new edit? That would probably work with a fresh storyline and a good cast...
