Almost subscribed to Youku just to finish this damn drama because of the smoldering alpha ML. Came across the last episode with comments how it ended, watched it for myself and it was a wtf just happened?! Will wait instead till all episodes are free. However the bts of the leads were hilarious and fl is such a cutie pie. This is the 2nd time I’ve watched her in a drama with sexy MLS. Her ML in Decreed by Fate is a dead ringer for XZ, in my opinion.

Dilraba’s eyes alone are enough to convey any emotion. Some actors don’t need to resort to screaming and shouting to be effective in the roles they play. And she’s one of the few who does this to her advantage. Blame it on the dubbing in her costume dramas because it ruins most of her crying scenes. Her Sweet Dream drama with Denglun had me crying non stop. You can also check her drama bts since it’s her normal voice to see how emotionally raw her crying scenes were.
That’s okay. I only read till chapter 16 since it’s the only available one right now. Plus Youku might change it again just like what happened with TLB and I’ll just be disappointed. Come what may, I can’t wait for LOA!

Only now did I realize that Tim Pei is inLOA! Just finished his modern drama but he looked hot in the costume drama where he was in. Unfortunately, I dropped it coz of the plot. I’m glad he’s in this drama.

Absolutely agree! It wasn’t just for the very popular leads(they were perfect for the roles, nonetheless!; but the story itself was very good and not the typical cliche dramas. This drama set the bar so high for me and hoping that more dramas be written intelligently.
