She’s playing the role of an actress. No over acting needed. Should she be whiny, screeching, stonefaced when being kissed? Or bitchy? She interpreted the character the way it was written in the novel, in case you didn’t read it. You commented on her make up, that is not the actress’s fault but the make up department. And not part of having a good acting trait. Thanks but no thanks on asking me to give Love020 a chance and me getting enchanted. It’s not my cup of tea. Besides YAMG had already enchanted me. Nice try for the compare and contrast article.. I never watched Love 020 since I’m not fond of the FL’s acting. Saw her work before and totally didn’t understand why she’s even an actress. I didn’t have any expectations when I watched YAMG since I didn’t even know Yang Yang and only saw Dilraba in The Long Ballad. I thought it would be boring since I wasn’t into aerospace and gaming concepts. However, I gave it a try since I developed fondness for DD after watching her in TLB. To date, I have seen YAMG many times like all the other viewers who fell in love with the drama. To say it’s overhyped is an insult to all the viewers who had seen it repeatedly. Your article is coming out negative. You might want to study paraphrasing words if you are writing articles being read by people from all over.

I like SYJ, and it's unfortunate that she belongs to a culture wherein careers are judged based on what goes on with your personal life. No one is denying that it was a toxic relationship but it didn't diminish the fact that she's a good actress. Hoping for her come back.
I watched the Lost Tomb 1 first because I wanted to see Yang Yang's other works before YAMG. I enjoyed it and wanting for more. So, started Lost Tomb 2 in Amazon and Tomb of the Sea in You Tube. Written literatures on this drama series would definitely help the viewers because they're too much to watch. On the other hand, if you're into this genre give it a try.

However, I agree with @Fairydustpuppy that you most likely didn't finish watching this or skipped a lot of scenes for you to come up with those 4 juvenile descriptions. This is a drama written for thinking adults, who understand the struggles of life. And surely don't appeal to a viewer like you who prefers the stereotypical plot lines. I'm not even going to do a point by point analysis because you only used 4 words anyway. So this response might be too much to read. The others had already done that.
