0.5-3.5 stars : Awful. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Either has a terrible plot or terrible actors.

4-5 stars : Would recommend to my worst enemy. It's not bad enough to make you not want to touch any piece of media again, but it's bad enough to make you question why you're wasting your life on watching dramas and movies.

5.5-7.5 stars : Not bad, just a matter of taste. Possibly average.

8-8.5 stars : Good. Would recommend to many people.

9-9.5 : Rewatch once. Rewatch twice. Rewatch thrice. Keep rewatching until the day you die. 

10 stars : Nothing will ever live up to this.
