I am on ep 11 and I love this show so far, but there's something so annoying. Is the trend nowadays to disguise abuse and double standards as women empowerment? If the genders were reversed and a guy kept hitting a girl then it wouldn't be seen as a joke and funny thing. It would be seen as abuse and the series would be cancelled. I've seen this in cafe minamdang and most shows I've watched. We all love feminism and then forget that feminism is about equal rights, not making women higher than men. I srsly heard about a series where a woman cheats on 2 guys and it's romanticized. "Women should get to beat up men because women are babies who can't harm a fly, they're so weak, so precious. Men on the other hand are monsters who are powerful! Women can cheat because men should be happy to get cheated on!" Sorry for the rant, this trend in kdramas has been really pissing me off.
I think there are some people taking this web drama wayyy too seriously. Like... calm down, it's just a fun little…
This should be taken seriously as if this was with genders reversed people would be going crazy and cancelling this series. Also, a bunch of young kids watch kdramas and will think it's fine to cheat because the partner will say it's okay.
On one side we have too many Thai bls with terrible storyline, and on the other side we have Chinese bls which aren't actually bls anymore with AMAZING storyline and acting. WHY CAN'T WE HAVE PROPER CHINESE LGBTQ REPRESENTATION
You have to watch to find out, I don't want to drop any spoilers haha. Something happened between her and the ML which made her misunderstand him, so she's just been relying on her feelings way too much and being rude to him. There are a little bit of double standards with her hitting him too so that's why even i found her annoying at first. She does have character development though, it's very common for leads to be annoying at first.
I've just watched episode 10 and I can't like the FL she's so annoying and I think most of the people who are…
Yall are seriously so annoying. ITS NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL. Give constructive criticism like the few people who did that, don't write this mess of a comment. IF YOU HATE IT SO MUCH JUST DROP IT. Yall have a really bad habit of repeating what others are saying over and over again and not waiting for the character development. What she's doing isn't even that bad, you can't expect this to be the most realistic thing ever, that's not what this series is. You can't expect the characters to be to your liking. So many main leads in kdramas have been annoying for a bunch of episodes but have changed later on. Yall are hating on this poor character because she was rude to someone, who in her eyes, aided in her brothers murder by hiding evidence. She seriously just found out that he didn't do that so she's changing for the better. She's over the top sometimes, sure, but if you don't like it just leave. No need to share the same, unoriginal opinion over and over.
I don't think Soo Cheol is related by blood. The other two are because they have the same surname and both address…
I think we'll find out how they knew eachother later, but I think they must've met through the club they were in. I don't see how they got to see each other because of her brother, Han Joon found out he knew her as a child before he found out she was his best friend's sister. Also, i think the age gap is of like 4--5 years, she probably just didn't hit puberty and was like 15.
