CC’s dad: “Do you know who I am?” WSW: “Father-in-law.”
In Chinese, 老丈人 (Lǎo zhàng rén) means “my wife’s father.” So yes—WSW was basically treating CC as his “wife,” even though he’s actually the bottom in their relationship, haha.
Why did CC saying mean things to WSW when he saw him cry, im just confused on what he was tryna do?
In Chinese, phrases often carry two layers of meaning—one obvious, one subtle. On the surface, his words sounded harsh and sharp-tongued, as if he were criticising. But beneath that, the unspoken message was: I’m here to see you. I’m here to accompany you. I’m here to be with you. I still love you. When WSW cried, he finally gave in and hug him, when WSW said don't leave, both reconciled at that time.
My biggest gripe about ep 20 is where was chiwei's big talk to clear the misunderstandings, doubt and lies. Does…
WSW knows that CC never cheated on him—he eventually learned that CC had been accompanying his mother all along. CC also knows that WSW lied when he said he didn’t love him anymore. The truth is, they both still love each other and want to reconcile, but someone has to make the first move.
It was CC who gave in first. His actions and words revealed his true intentions. He spoke to WSW, making him cry, because he didn’t want WSW to keep bottling up his feelings. He pointed out that WSW had lost weight—showing he had been paying attention to him all this time. When he said, “No one will be here to comfort you,” he was really telling WSW, “I’m here for you.”
When WSW broke down in tears and begged him not to leave, they finally reconciled. WS was never a real threat to WSW, especially after WSW learned that CC had returned Xiao Cu Bao to WS = CC had a proper closure. Shuai told WSW that WS had spent the night at his place, and WZ said he would be leaving the country with WS. When WSW told his late mother that he would never be able to take a wife in this lifetime, he was admitting that the only person he ever wanted to be with was CC.
But Tian's acting is trending on weibo ? i think its the wang shuo they hate badly for no reason in my opinion
Other than these few apps, there are pirated platforms like 人人视频 that are flooded with negative comments. It’s honestly draining to read through them. I find myself needing to scroll further just to find positive feedback, so I won’t be too affected by such a toxic environment. Anyway I'm gonna praise them until the release of new episodes next week. Peace and love

Some C-fans and antis—especially CP fans on platforms like Xiaohongshu and Twitter—keep bad-mouthing both CC and WSW. While fans on Weibo are applauding their performance, non-fans are criticizing them for being overly dramatic or exaggerated in their praise.
This is a low-budget drama, yet people are placing unrealistic expectations on it—demanding a flawless storyline and perfect acting. I just wish more people would choose to spread love and support instead of unnecessary hate.
I don’t understand why some C-fans keep bashing both CC and WSW by belittling their acting skills and criticizing them for their so-called “bad acting.” Personally, I think the plot has been like a roller coaster lately—I’ve had mixed emotions over the past few episodes. But overall, I’m enjoying the show.
As international fans, we support the series through official platforms, while some C-fans watching on pirated sites act as if they’re 100% entitled to demand things from the actors. I honestly feel sorry for them.
I do believe the production team has cut some scenes, which may explain the missing plot points. I can read and understand Chinese, and when I watch the show, I genuinely feel their love, their pain, and their anguish.
I’m just so fed up with the toxic side of C-culture, where they only acknowledge the sweet, lovey-dovey moments between CC and WSW, and then bash them whenever a scene doesn’t meet their standards. If you dislike the show, you’re free to stop watching—why go so far as to curse the lead actors?
I wonder why it took about 7 business days for Chi Cheng to push Wang Shuo away?? the second he pressed his lips…
The scene was short. It’s just the way they film it and multiple cameras and shots that make it longer. The production need to make it dramatic and it did lol. CC pushed WS right away after the sudden kiss, close his mouth during the kiss and rubbed his mouth after the force kiss. In case anyone missed the part, where it was subtle, feel free to slow mo the scene again.
I like how some China fans give statements about BL series. - Don't treat the bottom as a weaker person. - Please treat the top as a person instead of a "fantasy puppet". - Both are guys, where they are equal. - Stop assuming the bottom is the weak side and top must be perfect. - Don't jump into conclusion so quick based on a misleading teaser.
Viu / Gaga E10 subs: "To me, you're just a little loser.""You're just my little loserI'm memorized…
It refers to someone like "my little loser," an underdog, or an average Joe—said affectionately. That’s the version of WSW that CC truly falls for—not the overly polished, seemingly smart and competent professional that WSW tries to portray, all while feeling unhappy about not being his true self. Subtly, it shows that CC understands WSW isn’t perfect—just like he isn’t—and it doesn’t matter. He loves WSW just the way he is.
Love ML but i dont understand how FL mourned so hard for 2ML, who tortured ML, leading the dead of her friends etc. I cried harder when ML was injured and Zhuge/Ling Long died.
anyone know what is this for? He's so pretty 🤭 https://youtu.be/gfkEDG8tK1M?si=BDibbkR1gSh70cot
Collaboration with a famous photographer and official/government to Promote Shu Bracode/Sichuan figured satin and heritage + drama promotion for Bracode Odyssey
zheng yecheng is always adorable and his acting is good, too bad he's one of the flop masters, his dramas never…
His drama doesn't spend much money in doing promotion and production, but he always earn money for the production team and cable channels. His dramas were listed in the cable channel financial report as profitable. Just because he always lay low it doesnt mean his dramas are flop lol.
