I agree, I feel like those two should be in a company like BOC who would actually utilize their acting talents. Or they should get to be in a series like SmartBoom are in right now. Unfortunately, gmm fails in many things, but their biggest failure is shoving their actors into these boxes and leaving them there. It gives the actors little room to develop their acting skills and even for some pairings their chemistry never moves past a certain point and after a while it gets tiring. Probably part of the reason I have a hard time getting invested with Gmm series.

To be fair, this episode doesn't give them much to work with. After all the only vampire powers we got in this episode was Mark's speed and Thara's ability to see the future.

Joss and Gawin were just at Woody and Ote's wedding party, they are a gay couple so that may put Joss in a better light for people saying he's homophobic. Although I'm sure people who truly want to hate him will still come up with reasons to say he is. Like saying he was forced to go by Gmm or went on purpose to try and gain better standing with those people. And yeah, we have to get more into the story and their relationship before people most likely will get more into the show. But those who are watching it are working pretty hard to keep the show attention up there. And Joss and Gawin are doing more promotional stuff together.

I swear, if someone decides they hate an actor they will find any reason to justify it. Now Joss actual does something really bad or breaks the law or something, then it is understandable.

Nope, mostly just politicians and others that are certainly not in favor of the LGBTQ+ community and who are known to be misogynistic, so naturally they think if he followed them, then he must be too.

And I don't understand the no chemistry comment when it's only the first episode. Of course their characters aren't going to have that kind of chemistry, they aren't supposed to. The first couple of episodes are about introducing characters and the world, not about wether Joss and Gawin have chemistry or not. And what, is everyone thinking Mark fell in love with Tong when he was 12? He's just been protecting him like he was told to do. He wasn't sitting here flirting with an actual child.

No problem. I'm mean, you should see some of the special effects in chinese dramas. If people think My Golden Blood is bad...

I think most of it happens on X. Not necessarily here. Some people were talking about OhmLeng split and that some people were saying they wish it had been JossGawin instead. I think mainly because of the whole thing about who Joss was following on X, but also I think there are some fans who wanted Gawin to either stick with First or Krist, instead of getting a new partner again.
