OMG! Everything you said is my exact view of it too. I love them both, but their interactions felt so off. As if they signed the project contract that stipulated no affection and no kissing. Also, why did they style her like that from beginning to end? Like, they could have at least dress her up for when he won the award. Like WTF?! It was so frustrating to watch, but I am a “I have to finish what I started” kind of person. So I sat through this insanity for 36 episodes. A lot of skipping though 😑

Your issue is the same as mine. Like for example “crush”. They reveal at the second half of the drama that the FL has PTSD and/or paranoia but only in one episode and it was never addressed nor explained how it was resolved. All of a sudden it’s a happy ending, but what happened to the illness? And this is just one of the many examples and I can go on and on about every drama that I’ve watched that has the same issue. It feels unfulfilled and an unsatisfactory feeling. I hope the writers/directors work on this and hopefully we’ll see better story telling in the future

I love the ML and FL. She’s one of my favorites, and this is my first time watching him though. Perhaps you can give it a go, just to see how you like it.

Her father was taken to the hospital and she found out and rushed to go back home to be with him. The ML tried to stop her and accused her parents of using her fathers illness to bring her back home because they don’t want them to be together when it wasn’t true. He told her that they’ll break up if she leaves, and she did anyway. ML became sick and was taken to the hospital. His assistant called her, and she left her fathers side to come back to coax him and make him feel better before going back. He was still stubborn and selfish and his insecurity wouldn’t let go of the fact that she left to go home. Long story short, her father passed away while she was away and she didn’t get to say her final goodbye to him.
