It seems that Yin Qing is the masked man/grandmaster, but I'm guessing the one who killed Madam Liu is Gu Qin, because he thought Madam Liu was the one who made his younger brother, Ling Yun fei, sell the pills. Judging by the murder weapon , not a knife but a candlestick, the killing wasn't premeditated and was carried out by someone who had never killed before. But all of this is just my assumptions too 😁

Let's play a guessing game😁. He is Ling Yunfei's gege, so he can't be young anymore. The minister who holds a high position and whose behavior seems suspicious, in my opinion, is the Right Chancellor, Gu Xin and I don't believe the Left Chancellor, Xu Heng, would betray his nation since he has served through three reigns. So Gu Xin is the masked man 🤔.

In my opinion, what matters most is that the storyline flows smoothly and the acting is good. I'll watch it after a few more episodes come out, and hopefully by then the rating will have improved, because the cast lineup is quite interesting.
