He lose the weight because teenage hanli. The character was from a poor family. Don't have enough to eat. Also, they give him treadmill to run as hanli run away a lot. He said that he did more thousand of step a day because of that. He gain all it back if you see him doing the promotion for the drama. Even in wrtw, he have to lose weight because if seems cdrama think it will made them look good in ancient drama.
Just think this drama is one big company. He come from countryside. He join the company on luck. His talent is not the greatest, he didn't come from prestigious family and he have no back up. Han Li is a career guy, he will not go out or marry anyone until his career is stable. He feel he is too busy build his skill to even have time for his girlfriend. People get fire around his company left and right , his wit and determination help him not getting fire. There a bunch of other company set out people to infiltrate his company and take it down. Han Li wants to stay in his job and not get fire, so he deal with them.

There is an upcoming scene with her and Han li that are coming up soon. In the novel, they do spent sometime together here. Her character is kinda like Han li, all she care is about cultivate, even when they get together. One of the quirk I read from novel fan that she love to eat. So Han Li make her a pill so she can eat as much as she want and do not gain weight. She thought she think she is old. the last scene with Gina, she was eating something. I hope everyone give her a chance. She is a good actress and she is pretty.
