Season One & Two review

Season One
The acting, chemistry, pacing, and writing amazing up to ep 12. Then they switched writers for the rest of the show and WOW YOU CAN TELL. The show ent down hill for me the writing wasn't great and it DRAGGED!!
They should have wrapped things up in ep 12 instead of doing 16 eps that were eachother well over an hour.
Episode 6,7 and 11 were my favorites and the ones that pulled emotions.
Last ep was a little to clean for my liking but it wrapped up. Season 2 100% was not needed and I feel this way about ALL Kdramas that get multiple seasons.

Season Two
This was a difficult watch the writing was all over the place. This season was random and felt forced 100% a fan service season. Wish they would have made a movie instead or better yet left it with just one season.

Rewatch? NOPE

Such an enjoyable watch ??

I watched this one for the FL lead I am a new fan of this actress after her 2024 project Knight Flower.

This was an enjoyable watch and looking forward to season 2. This is coming from someone who isn't a fan of multiple season shows.

PROS:
◇The acting
◇The chemistry 🙌🏽
◇Writing
◇The 2nd have was more enjoyable for me personally. Really enjoyed when the whole team was completed 👌🏽
◇The ending

CONS:
◇Certian topics I wish were developed more. In Ep 15 & 16 they were beautifully done just wanted more time. Hope that makes sense, really trying not to spoil anything.
◇ I was a little long they could have cut it down 5 episodes or make each ep 1 hr and it could have been 20 eps.
◇The Humor didn't alway land for me personally. I did get used to it so it didn't bother me as much in the 2nd half.

This was a fantastic watch and really happy I picked it up. 🩷📺

Not Perfect

Short Drama

PROS:
◇The couple was cute

◇Short drama only 7ep (20-30min)

◇How the leads both apologized often and wanted the other to be happy.

CONS:

◇Wish they focused on getting to know each other a little more before the physical realtionship.

◇Production wasnt great low budget it was 2020.

◇Insta Love through ing the L word only after days of knowing eachother.

◇Wish there were time skips or lapse showing the realtionship grow.

Overall a one time watch for me personally.
PG13 for the married couple realtionship. More then Kdramas less then american shows

Really Enjoyed This Show ?

I grew up watching police/crime shows so I am very familiar with the genre. Really enjoyed this show & currently watching season 2 that is currently airing ♡ Let's do some PROS & CONS because no show is perfect. ♡

PROS:
◇The editing & how the whol show looked was amazing.
◇Chemistry it was very believable that this team have known eachother & are a found family.
◇Loved the action/fighting scenes
◇The writing & story overall really enjoyable to watch.

CONS:
◇Main character luck & you really have to expand your disbelief at times.
◇The way it wrapped up a little to nicely especially for the genre.
◇The female prosecutor I understand why she was needed for the plot and how she represented the law but I also found her extremely annoying.

Really did enjoy this show so happy I picked it up & loving season 2. Even as a fan I will say there wasn't a need for another season but I'm not mad about it either 😅

Contemporary Crime Drama

Stranger
K-Drama
Ep 32
Two Seasons
PG-13

I like Contemporary stories and Crime / Murder mystery so when I heard this was a mix of both I was excited!

Sadly it was just okay for me.

This show had great actors and 97% of them played morally grey characters. The only exception were the leads!
Let's do some pros & cons

Pros:
◇The acting
◇How it wasn't as dark and gory as it could be 👌 (Definitely PG-13)
◇The Leads

Cons:
◇It felt like it dragged at times
◇The plot twists were okay
◇The writing at times
◇Wanted more friendship & chemistry

Over all I am happy I watched this show. Would I recommend? If you like slow crime dramas then yes, if you like fast past thriller type then maybe not.

REWATCH? No

Funny Rom Com a little magic

I really wanted a funny, fluffy drama after Finishing a heavy one. In the beginning this C-drama was exactly that 👌

The first half was so strong and engaging! I also laughed so hard, the acting was fantastic and story was fun!

Then the 2nd half happened and I lost interest Real fast 😪

It was the writing for me it started to drag and personally think it could have been cut down.
The Ending was underwhelming and predictable 😒

I am happy I watched it because I was introduced a whole new (to me) cast of fantastic actors!!

Rewatch? No

Historical Film and Women Supporting Women

Historical Film where Women Support Women

Since the beginning of time men have started wars. There have also been spies, many were women. They made the best spies because females have been underestimated by men for years.

This movie does a good job portraying this and how women support eachother. I am glad I watched this one for the amazing cast but it will be a one time watch her for me.

Please look up trigger warnings as this one has a plethora of them.
Mostly Violence and death.
There are more so please look them up. if topics of war make you uncomfortable maybe pass on this one.

Wholesome Zombie Binge Worthy

I wanted something spoky but not super scary and this was perfect 👌🏽
If you like the zombie 🧟‍♂️ Movie Warm Bodies you will most likely enjoy this show.

PROS:
◇ Surprisingly Wholesome
◇The lead actors acting
◇Female Lead
◇The light romance (more like a crush)
◇The ending
◇The zombie affects
◇The comedy was fun

CONS:
◇If you are familiar with the mystery genre the plot is a little predictable.
Not a necessarily a bad thing especially with a show like this.
◇The side characters (other detectives) 🕵️‍♂️ took me forever to like.
◇Some of the writing felt a little out of order.
◇Some editing choices example music louder during scene changes. Felt choppy.

Overall glad I watched it super fast binge show and a good time over all.

30+ LEADS, CHEMISTRY & HEALTHY REALTIONSHIP ♡♡♡♡♡

PROS:

◇30+ LEADS
◇CHEMISTRY 🔥
◇HEALTHY REALTIONSHIP
◇NO TOXIC PARENTS
◇SLICE OF LIFE
◇FRIENDS TO LOVERS TROPE
◇MUTURE ROMANTIC REALTIONSHIP

CONS:

◇Everything about the sister drama
(I skipped all her scenes)

◇Some work politics
(Also skipped through them)

◇How characters wouldn't turn off their phones or at lease silence them.
(I guess that's realistic and this is a slice of life after all)

Overall LOVED THEM honestly recommend this drama for them and their realtionship.
Two 30+ adults living their lives and trying their best to have a healthy realtionship. ♡♡♡
So happy I saw an edit about this one and picked it up when it was airing.

◇The comedy
◇The lightness of it all
◇Karma Team found family
◇JUSTICE OVER REVENGE which I enjoyed alot!
◇The chemistry of the whole cast.
◇The balance of genres was fantastic
◇Well written plot
◇The Music 🎶 (OST)
◇The way it was wrapped up, great ending very satisfying.

CONS:
◇The villian LOVED monologing! We get it sir you are evil, selfish obsessive human.

Overall LOVED this show so much fun really light for a crime show. There are sad moments (flashbacks) crime still really light and had some funny moments.

BEST ROBOT SHOW I HAVE SEEN SO FAR! ??

A Robot in the Orange Orchard
2022

PROS:
◇The changes the made from the orginal (Kdrama I Am Not A Robot)
◇The chemistry
◇Healthy relationships (friends & romantic ones)
◇Following multiple couples.
◇The 2nd couple they were not only adorable but BOTH GREEN FLAGS!
◇The found family aspect.
◇THANK GOODNESS the doctor wasn't her creepy ex! He was really kind and loved him in this one.
◇The balance of genres
◇Also the cute & fluffy moments.
◇THE ENDING the little twist for the villian! I did not remember that from the Kdrama. It was done way better here.

CONS:
◇I only have one the writers remembered the orginal (Kdrama I am not a Robot) was a Meolodrama & added some tropes in the end.
It wasn't horrible just seemed a little random but still enjoyed it ♡

REWATCH? YES
This was a very enjoyable watched I loved it 100% more then the orginal.
The Kdrama is a Meolodrama with some comedy. The Cdrama is a slice of life rom com.

Synopsis:
"As the chairman of a successful technology company, Lu Sen often finds himself in large group settings. While he has no problem addressing any number of people, he has incredible difficulty with any sort of direct, physical contact. Suffering from a strange allergy which is only triggered by direct skin-to-skin contact, something as simple as a handshake could prove deadly. Without the ability to directly come into contact with others, Lu Sen is intrigued when he learns a doctor by the name of Fu Yang has created an incredibly lifelike robot companion dubbed “Friday”. Willing to invest further in Dr. Fu Yang’s work, Lu Sen has requested Friday be delivered to his home so he can test out the full capabilities of this incredible creation. Though agreeing to Lu Sen’s request, the doctor is mortified when a last-minute technical issue renders his robot useless. Unable to bear the thought of losing both his credibility and his funding, he asks his former assistant, Yang Shan Shan, to take the robot’s place, just long enough for him to get it up and to run again. Being the real-life model for the robot’s looks, Shan Shan is identical to the robot in every way and only agrees to the doctor’s request when she realizes she really has no other choice. Arriving at Lu Sen’s home on “Friday”, Shan Shan does her best to emulate the robot’s behavior..."

This was a fun one time watch Cdrama ♡

PROS:

◇The Slice of Life genre

◇The Food :)

◇The friendships

◇Overall a fun chill show with hardly any big conflict.

CONS:

◇Things dragged a little at times. Could have been 10eps instead of 16.

◇How long it took the FL recinize her feelings.

◇The editing in the last episode. It makes things a little confusing.

Overall I did enjoy it and happy I binge watched it.

Best Mulan LIVE action I have seen so far ??

Mulan 2009
I picked this one up after hearing by many this was the best and closes to the Legend of Mulan.

PROS:
◇The focus on the mental and emotional toll war can and does have on a person.
◇Mulan wasn't a perfect character she was flawed.
◇The character growth
◇The writing
◇Chemistry between the leads
◇Overall plot & deployment of the story
◇Didn't get as violent as it could have.

CONS:
◇Editing wasn't super great I think because of the budget.
◇We didn't get alot of time with the side characters to care when things happened. That being said it was sad but wish they had more screen time.
It was just a movie not a show so I also understand.

Rewatch? Yes

This movie was such a let down 😔

love this genre and I really thought this movie was going to be good.

For a film by the same creators of Train to Busan I was expecting heart. Sadly this movie did not deliver in any way 🙈
