Worth the watch (Trigger Warnings bellow)

PROS:
◇The cast I watched this movie mostly for them and they all did a fantastic job!!!
◇The plot
◇The running 🏃‍♀️ everyone and I mean the whole cast had to do so much running! It looked fantastic 👏🏽

How the ML manipulated others with his good looks and acting 🙈
◇The ENDING that was a nice little twist there.

CONS:
◇How the police 🚔 really didn't do much 😮‍💨 that's how it goes with plots like this I guess.
◇The pacing was a little slow in the middle.

Overall a good one time watch for me.
I recommend if it sounds interesting.

Wholesome Supernatural Romance no creepy ghosts

If you want to watch a light, fast paced Supernatural (Ghost) Kdrama I recommend this one 👌🏽
No creepy ghosts, dark evil things/ monsters or anything like that.

A story of solving crimes so the Ghosts/Spirits and crossover to the light.
Think The Ghost Whisperer (American TV show) but more wholesome. Loved this one!

PROS:
◇The writing nothing dragged was milked which is what caught my attention immediately.
◇How wholesome/light this show was over all. They could have easily made it dark and super heavy like most of its genre but they didn't.
◇The acting I thought everyone did a fantastic job from the main cast, supporting & guest appearances.
◇The OST is a fun light one matching it perfectly.
◇I was always engaged with the story & was superised by the turns it took.
◇Loved how it was a happy ending.

CONS:
◇Some Supernatural elements that never fully got flushed out. Personally it didn't bother me because everything else was so good.

Overall really enjoyed watching this one week by week and will miss it!
Hopefully Kdrama writers can make more light, fun, wholesome Supernatural Kdramas like this one ♡

Should have dropped it

Honestly should have dropped it but kept watching because I had hope it would get better. Sadly it didn't the idea was fun but it didn't work for me personally.

One day I'll find a good idol drama
If you want an idol drama one with great music Let Me Be Your Knight. Not a perfect show but the best Idol one I have seen so far but the MUSIC is beautiful.

Great Revenge Romance Drama

As a reader of the webtoon, I am very happy with this adaptation.

PROS:

◇The writing
◇The pacing, no filler episodes, and there was always something happening.
◇The changes made from the webtoon/ manhwa.
◇The intro and outro song.

CONS:

◇The budget was low, but the whole product felt like an early 2000s Meolodrama (soap opera). So maybe it's not really a con.

◇I wish we would see more of the relationship of the leads in the 2nd half. I did read the webtoon, so this didn't bother me as much.

Wasn't a fan :(

I want to start this review by saying the genre MEOLODRAMA is not for me.
So this is "me not the show" situation. I didn't know the genre going in and part two definitely was MEOLODRAMA heavy.

One & Only is a historical, war, Meolodrama. This is Part one of the story/plot.

Forever and Ever is a modern day Meolodrama. This is part two of the story/plot.

Technology you don't have to watch Part One to fully understand Part Two but it's advised.

PROS:
◇Bai Lu is an amazing actress and I will ALWAYS give all her projects a try just for her. She was in the 1st Cdrama I ever watched so I'm a huge fan. ♡
◇Some of the side characters especially the kind ones. Loved them and wanted to protect them.
◇The OST
◇The Reborn trope always a fan.

CONS:
◇I didn't like the Meolodrama elements of it. (Again that's on me for not double checking the genre before going in)
◇Amazing actors but sadly didn't feel the chemistry between them.

The only reason I finished it was because I was promised a happy ending. Also that part two was lighter. Will it wasn't yes the LEADS got a happy ending but part two felt even more sad then part one at times.

Overall if you are a fan of Bai Lu and are trying to watch all her projects then maybe watch. If not maybe pass on it 🙈

I feel like the writers of Jdramas are finally listening to us 🥹

For me personally, it has been impossible to find a Japanese drama where the leads respect each other.

Most of them are written that our male lead is a walking red flag and excuse all his behavior and he NEVER apologizes.

Not this one, they make mistakes and apologize almost iimmediately. I can't tell you have refreshing that was.

For that alone, this drama has my respect. Now that being said it's not perfect. The kissing scenes especially in the 2nd half could have been better. I understand censorship with Japanese dramas but it didn't make sense to the plot. This drama is told to use like it were a play of sorts and it took me out of the story from time to time. It wasn't bad just not used to that type of storytelling.

This drama takes place in the 1930s so you will see some traditional elements and beliefs in the plot. I personally liked it and I thought it was sweet at times.

Another thing that I found endearing was how awkward they both were. It was sweet how hard they tried to understand each other.

Overall I enjoyed my watch of this one and would recommend it. A good one-time watch for me ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic Watch Highly Recommend

I want to start this review by saying I went into this blind. Never saw the trailer, and only heard of Godzilla 🐲 but I have never seen a film. 

Really enjoyed the following...
◇How it was set in Japan where the story was originally from. 
◇All in Japanese with subs How international films should be consumed in my personal opinion. 
◇The special effects 
◇The acting of the leads and extras.
◇The writing from the smallest details to the big moments. 
◇Wardrobe department I see you and I appreciate you!
◇The struggles of war and what Godzilla represents. (If you want to go that direction which I 100% did)
◇The character growth of the leads but also side charcters like his neighbor.
◇Times of war and hardship can tear people apart or bring them together. 
◇The ending 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

There is so much more I know I can find when I rewatch it. 

My only con...
◇That one main character luck moment. You know what I'm taking about if you seen it. 

I have struggled for YEARS with Japanese live action media. (Shows, movies, shorts) At last I have come across one I enjoyed. Looking forward to finding more. 

In cnclusion this was a fantastic film and I'm glad I watched it in theaters.
Now 🏃‍♀️ to the internet to learn more about Godzilla the tale.

It's been a while since I've seen a Korean historical film. This movie was heartbreaking at times but worth the watch in my opinion.

They should have stopped at season ep 12

Season Two

Everyone's acting was okay and some action scenes were cool but wasn't a fan of this one. Never been a fan of Kdramas having multiple seasons in my personal opinion it doesn't.

This was a difficult watch the writing was all over the place. This season was random and felt forced 100% a fan service season. Wish they would have made a movie instead or better yet left it with just one season.

Season One

The acting, chemistry, pacing, and writing amazing up to ep 12. Then they switched writers for the rest of the show and WOW YOU CAN TELL. The show ent down hill for me the writing wasn't great and it DRAGGED!!
They should have wrapped things up in ep 12 instead of doing 16 eps that were eachother well over an hour.
Episode 6,7 and 11 were my favorites and the ones that pulled emotions.
Last ep was a little to clean for my liking but it wrapped up. Season 2 100% was not needed and I feel this way about ALL Kdramas that get multiple seasons.
