I really liked this. And I really, really love that they were able to do it in twelve 40 minute episodes without it feeling overly rushed. In fact, this is one series where I would have gladly watched a few more episodes/worlds because I really dig the whole crossworld traveler trope, especially when they are traveling through multiple worlds. While a little a vague on the how's and why's, overall it was a super engaging and easy watch.
Can you tell me is the action and 30 ep worth the time to watch it??
They could have definitely pared it down. I almost dropped it at first but after episode 8 or so the thought didn't cross my mind again. I'm sure there's some filler content that can be fast forwarded through if you want to get through it a little quicker.
After the first episode I was honestly prepared to hate the FL for the entirety of the drama. Imagine my surprise (and relief) when that turned out not to be the case. I'm happy I stuck through those first few episodes. It really does get better!
Despite having a few minor isssues with FL's character inconsistency (her younger self and her adult self seem very different) I enjoyed watching the drama. And I had no idea LJS was in this until I saw him step out of the car. I had to do a triple take lol. Just a small bonus ❤
I'm really happy I didn't let the lower rating and highlighted negative reviews deter me. I really liked this drama. The romance is actually fairly low-key with the biggest part being played by our cute SML and his never ending determination to have FL in his life. He is pretty persistent even though our FL neither expressed nor had any romanctic interest in him. He was always just friend. The same with SFL. While she and ML had a past he was never interested in pursuing a future once they were through (they broke up years before the drama starts). Neither end up being hindrances to a relationship bt FL and ML. I also had zero issues with the age gap bt ML and FL. She is a 25 yo adult and ML is 37. They have a slow-burn romance which begins with earning each other's respect and grows from there. It felt natural. I always like these dramas where the characters have a career in skilled profession, in this case beauty/makeup and to a lesser extent idol trainee. It usually gives the characters a platform to grow together and that's exactly what this does. I appreciate the choices the FL makes. In fact, I just liked her as a whole, which is almost a rarity for me to say about FLs. There's usually something about them that annoys me, but she was pretty annoyance free in my book. That's a big, big plus.
My biggest complaint is the writers allowing slight redemption arcs for despicable characters. Asshole ex-husband should never have been given any light at the end of his tunnel. Overall, this was very enjoyable to watch.
Half-way impressions: I'm only on ep 7 so far, so I'm waiting for things to go horribly wrong for the ML, since…
I'm at this same point and your comment really reflects my current opinion. Just waiting for whatever evil scheme that's in the works to come to fruition. Overall, though, I'm really liking it.
Man, when ML broke in episode 15, I broke with him. The emotions were real. And I'm team "I don't think the plot twist in episode 12 was necessary." They already had enough obstacles to overcome without adding in the additional drama. Mom and Grampa can suck it. Those two are horrible, selfish people. And even though ML starts off as a complete ass (and ends with still a little bit of the ass sass), he definitely grew into a ML that I would root for. I thought CKH did a really good job portraying our FL. Her mannerisms made the character. Overall, a decent healing drama with a pretty sweet romance.
I came here after watching Imperial Coroner because I obviously wanted to see WZQ in another drama. It started off pretty slow for me and never quite got where I wanted it to be. FL was so, so clumsy. She falls over something in nearly every episode. Of course that's so our ML can catch her, but still. And the # of accidental kisses was a little much. I did like them better after they became an official couple. They end up having some cute moments together. SML was a little creepy. He really needed to just let FL be after a certain point. I totally get ML getting annoyed. Same with SFL. After both declared their love to ML/FL, ML and FL should have put a stop to those relationships, out of respect for their partners if nothing else. SML following FL abroad really bugged me. There's also a secondary couple who I ended up having no feelings for. I liked them at first but ended up fast forwarding through most of their scenes towards the end . This is not necessarily a bad drama. I don't regret finishing it. I just didn't connect with the characters really or feel that emotional hook. It's a middling rom-com with a few cute moments but nothing really memorable.
I spent the first half of the drama rooting for them not to be together and the last half hoping they would find their way back to one another. I really wish there had been a return to timeline #1 to right those wrongs instead of wiping the slate and starting over, but overall I'm happy with the way it ended. I think they are both better, stronger people who decided to fight and work for their happiness. I end up loving all of Ji Sung's dramas and this is no exception ❤
Watched it on x1.25-1.50 and skipped most of the inessential flashbacks and SML "villain" scenes and it was all good. I've become a big supporter of skipping if you need to. It has kept me from dropping a few dramas lately. FLs hair was the hardest part to get past lol. They knew that wig looked bad so they gave her a different "bad haircut" and made her ugly hair a joke. It's a shame, too, because it took the focus away from the character. All I could see when she was onscreen was the terrible hair.
Regardless, I still enjoyed the show immensely. I liked both the lead and supporting casts. FL finally getting some of her spunk back after losing herself while in the US and ML opening up and becoming a much warmer person was the kind of growth I like to see. Plus, once they were in it together, they were really in it together. They handled their business, and neither put up with the outside interferences. Granted, there are a few slap kiss moments that may make some viewers uncomfortable, but I looked at it as the inevitable explosions after repeatedly repressing emotions (and the past). ML was not able to begin his healing until FL regained his trust. It wasn't necessarily fair to our FL (he refused to hear her out--he was scared of the/her past), but it's what happened. Once they both let out their stories, the characters took a turn for the better (and better and best).
As long as I overlook the hair, skip over the SML and make allowances for terrible "American" cast, fast forward through the flashbacks bc most are only repeats of scenes I've already seen, and tolerate the lack of communication (because that's where the drama comes in) then it's a 8.5-9/10 for me. Seriously, overall it's really just a fun watch with happy endings all around.
This started off hard to watch for me because I'm not into childish/young acting FLs. I personally just don't get the appeal of characters like that. However, she ends up becoming a little more mature and professional as the show progresses. Once she started making that progression it made the drama easier to watch for sure. And I did end up enjoying it for what it was: a pretty silly, kind of cringey and cheesy, light, fluffy rom-com where the leads get together fairly quickly and stick with one another until the end. I loved how affectionate ML wanted to be all the time. He had no issues at all kissing her (though she still liked to play hard to get). I was happy to see supportive (mostly) parents, too, even though our villainess SFL tried her hardest to eff it all up whenever she could. Those who mattered didn't play into her BS. No real love triangles and no breakups. That's the part I appreciated the most. 7/10.
I liked it. It wasn't complicated or convoluted and there were some genuinely funny scenes. Our FL was a little over the top in some parts and my feelings on SML (though he's more like ML imo) were up and down throughout the drama. But everything ended on a mostly up note. I was just really hoping their relationship would be revealed at some point. I get and respect them wanting to keep it low-key, but for the sake of drama I wanted to see some reveal reactions! Lol.
I am a lover of medical kdramas and while this wasn't your typical ER/surgery drama, it still managed to hit the right notes as more quiet, slice of life, medical drama. I'd recommend giving it a try.
I really want to watch this but there is Gaming Tag,Im not really a gamer, so can I watch this without any interest…
I liked it? But the plot was kind of all over the place tbh. Don't watch it expecting the whole kidnapping past thriller stuff to make sense. It doesn't and won't. But I liked the "I've been waiting for you all this time" shtick and our leads together so I enjoyed it.

The gaming is similar, but this one revolves around gaming much more heavily than You Are My Glory (which only includes it for like a 1/3 of the series). It is definitely an esports drama, whereas You Are My Glory is not really.

If you really want to watch it then why not watch a couple of eisodes and see how you feel about it?
Gaming is a big part of the drama and one of the things I liked most about it (I game but not esports game), but I also watch other dramas featuring a competitive activity that I have no experience or connection to (archery, skating, etc) and end up enjoying them. Just give it a go. It's easy enough to drop if you aren't interested.
