Seriously, Jennifer and Ru Ri should have even the doctors in this show. Jennifer was an awesome support person, and Ru Ri was just a better person in general. I went into watching this prepared to defend our doctor leads, but there's just no getting around how terribly they behaved. Zero interest in actually helping him from the start. My heart broke for Yong Shik when he started revealing all of his secrets to Ji Hyuk knowing JH ulterior motives. In fact, it broke for him throughout the entirety of the show. I felt his helplessness, anxiety, and frustration right along with him. You could literally see the weight he carried on his shoulders. Yoon Shi Yoon did such an amazing job, even if I didn't find our FL all that likeable. 8.5/10 for the moment.
Cute romance, though the plot is a little lacking. However, I watched it for the romance so it's an 8/10 at the moment for me. Liked the ML/FL and even the SFL/SML. There were no real complications, and I didn't have to skip any scenes. A win/win imo. Plus, no stupid love triangle. So it's really a win/win/win. Yay!
After I started skipping the SFL scenes it became much more enjoyable. I 100% recommend doing it. You won't miss much lol. I gave zero cares about her, her feelings, or her romantic interests. ML should have nipped that much sooner than he did.
I do really appreciate that they gave us a drama where the ML/FL have a lot of screen time as a couple. That doesn't happen very often. And while they are cute together, they are not a very exciting couple and both have communication issues. So much which actually should have been said and done went unsaid and undone. Instead, we were required to listen to a lot of internalized monologue from the FL while watching our stone-faced ML stare into the distance. Drove me a little bit crazy (mostly FL always, always drawing the wrong conclusions and never trying to verify those assumptions---she just internalizes it all).
But these two crazy kids make it work out in the end, so I guess all's well that ends well. Our FL and ML do get a little bit better in the last episode with being more open and honest with one another. I was happy to see that growth. And ultimately, what I wanted was a cute rom-com with a happy ending and that's what I mostly got with this. If it weren't for me wanting to get/slap the SFL off the screen I'd probably have rated this a little bit higher than 7.5.
I loved the trust, commitment, and dedication these two ended up having towards one another. Recommend if you are looking for a sweet, fluffy romance <3
I loved, loved the ML. His facial expressions and secret smiles were everything <3 The FL really started to annoy me, though. Her inability to communicate with the ML was so nerve-wracking. I ended up skipping episodes 16-18 and just went straight to the conclusion.
It's a sweet story that lacked an emotional punch. I started it because I was interested in an e-sports drama, I finished it 100% for Yang Yang. I will say, I think I liked the in-game love story more than the IRL story.
The ML was wonderfully eccentric and the FL held her own. They made each other into better people and doctors and I loved experiencing that journey with them. On my all-time favorites list.
I stayed up almost all night watching this one. The premise was a little ridiculous, but I loved our ML and loved the relationship that developed between him and our FL. So many sweet moments.
The FL drove me absolutely nuts. I really did not get her appeal. She was a whiny hot mess the majority of the time. But the ML, well he was the absolute cutest. Bruce He is going on my list. He literally had me giggling and squeeing like a damn teen-aged girl, with his honed craft of being shirtless and those adorable dimples. *Sigh*
One of my all-time favorites. I will never not love this. One of my all-time fave MLS ❤ It's all in the way he looks at her and supports her 100%, even when he doesn't understand or agree with her
This drama is what keeps me coming back to romance dramas. The way he looks at her is 🔥🔥 Lu Jin is the first c-drama ML to be added to my ML collection aka ML harem.
