It's hard to choose something that is your only choice and that is to let go of something just to ease your situation.

Yes! I don't know but I know majority of watchers are women but I am one of those fanboys who silently or sometimes share it to my instagram feed just to show what I am watching. I've been a fan of dramas since I could remember and this is my comfort. Specially dramas that I can relate to. Modern chinese dramas has a place in my heart because where I came from shares almost the same values and culture as the chinese.

As a man myself. ML's situation put tears to my eyes. I totally and wholeheartedly feel his POV. I've been there, its hard when no one's there to help you and it is embarrassing to show your weaker side to people you don't want to.

They both need each other but the circumstances don't allow them to. It often happens in real life no matter how much you love each other but if you're not meant to be destiny will make a way....

People should understand that for a movie like this with a budget of $22Million is to low for a graphic heavy films. In order for you to produce a good film like this you need to have atleast $100 million USD to create a masterpiece. If they can't put a budget as big as this better lower your expectations. The manhwa requires tones of graphics and animations from chapter 1. I don't think they had a budget for that. You can clearly see it on the film. Don't expect too much even Jackie Chan's 2025 karate kid boasted a budget of 45 million USD for a nomal film.

As an og manhwa reader, exactly how can you say that the differences is of some keys when they have changed so…
I don't hate nor like the movie objectively speaking it is not bad nor good either. It's more or a commercial film nothing special to it. You have to set your expectations that 22million USD for a graphics movie is too low for a budget. Even Jackie Chan's karate kid which is not a even a graphics heavy movie costed them 45million USD. You have to watch it with a pinch of salt to be very honest.

Its an "adaptation ". I havent seen a movie adaptation that followed any manhwa or any piece so far due to length, plot and other constraints that is almost impossible to be done on a film. Artists can freely draw and think of something via writing or drawing. Some of these things are deemed expensive or impossible for live action. Might it be actor or budget issues. It is a decenr film for a 22million USD films. Fo you to be able to achieve an expectation level you need to have a budget like what avatar for example has.

The plot itsel is long some scenes are so expensive for CGI to replicate specially swords and other animated scenes which are expensive to make. Hence the director and producers have to make a way to produce a much cheaper alternative that still has to follow atleast the flow of the story. There are lots of scenes replicated from the manhwa or I would say majority aside from that ending and character backgrounds. Yes it deviated a lot but the flow of the story is still the same atleast 60-70 percent of it.

It is weekdays in Korea. People are busy here let's see on the weekend. I watched it yesterday it wasn't bad not good either. But it was okay atleast there are scenes that that present on the actual manhwa. Plenty of it I would say 50-60%

the movie covered chapter 1-34 in terms of accuracy but the ending of the movie deviated. Probably due to lack of action and intense plot that they can materialize. The Manhwa is more than 200 chapters. And the main plot isn't even included in the first 34 chapters hence the reason why the director made a choice of doing an impactful ending for the movie. Still it felt flat because of the lack of build up in terms of pacing and story telling, they could've made it into anime instead. Overall it was okay but not really something that you would watch again.

Watched it yesterday in Lotte Cinema. As an OG manhwa reader. The plot is the same just some key differences on the events and characters but the story flow is almost the same and they tried to stick to the original plot of the story.

If I am going to rate it 7.5 or 8. The plot is okay but the scenes are somewhat flat because it is literally not the main plot of the whole story. The movie ended in Chungmuro Scenario. The Insect Kid is the plot of the story. Haha

As I watched the latest episodes the more I can relate to the ML. No one can really help you aside from yourself during tough times. Even your friends can just empathize but reality is love friendship alone can't fix our earthly problems. ML is just so lucky that FL is very resilient on this case because majority of relationships like this end up the worst way possible. Though I feel bad for FL but when you look at ML he is the most pitiful character in the story. Since childhood even until his teenage years. FL is sheltered hence her character being immature sometimes. While ML matured early and had to face the reality of life ealry head on.

Majority of watchers like cliche plots which is far from reality than dramas that portray characters closer to reality.
