I've read a bit actually about the later part. Like synopsis.

I am just at chapter 1200ish. The novel is kinda boring actually. Too long and lots of fillers. I've started reading it more than a year ago but I can't finish it because I got bored everytime. Lol

This novel is not romance centric more of a journey to achieving immortality so don't expect for lots of romance. If you read the novel he has lots of women interaction and possible love lines but he chose to be careful and his admiration for Nangong wan was the strongest of them all. There are lots of ladies here btw. He is just very careful and at the same time loyal maybe? Hahaha

He is not ruthless but more of careful. If you have read the novel. He is ver careful and never trusts anyone so easily thats because of what happened to him under doctor mo's residence.

Although they removed some of the scenes from the novel but I am not complaining because the story telling is consistent. The core parts were still kept.
