I saw a comment about ink dirt cheap. No the same ink is still expensive till this day though not as expensive in ancient times the same ink being used in traditional calligraphy is still expensive as h.

10k dollars for a crash that first wasn't his fault and second doesn't appear to have caused absolutely any damage?…
A scratch on a sports car for repair needs to repaint the whole thing not just the scratch. Anyway BLs nowadays are no brainer so we should just watch it and put away some of our braincells away while watching. Lol

many people died in like what? their 30s
Getting married at 14 or 15 years old before is like getting married at 21 in today's standards. Getting married at 18 is like getting married at almost 30 now. Thats why women in the last who are in their 20's and not married yet are considered leftover women.

Even younger, in Korea there is a reason why 100 days is considered the best celebration because of high mortality rate for infants. If they passed 100 days it means they are lucky. In ancient china the life expectancy for people is less than 40 years old. Wars, diseases, famine etc. healthcare isn't a thing back then. Even kings are dying as early as in their 20's due to health problems.

I really hate when people applies modern standards to a ancient themed drama. Majority of men and women got married before 18 specially women because back in the day mortality rate is very high and reaching 40 years old before is like reaching 70 years old by today's standards. Watch the drama as what the genre is telling you not your present and modern morals!!

Problem is that we don't get much plot to be focused on.
Traveling back in time, taking over a body from someone who's supposed to be dead. Someone who was deliberately killed and got a father who was accuse of illegal dealings during those times is not a plot.

People have yo understand when watching this that this is an ancient time plot when Heterexuals is not even a name yet!!!! Kissing same sex this time can be a taboo. Or worse can get you killed. It is expected that kissing and s*x scenes are not as early like modern ones. Just follow the flor the story because I myself is tired of these BL xrated scenes. Its too much fantasizing of the LGBT community. Let's focus more on the plot!! And bed scenes and kissing scenes are not the main plot!!

The script has some loose ends Huiju’s dad- why did he slap Ian? does he really care? why didn’t he come to…
If you are noticing nuances his dad cares about her just that she misunderstood everything since she was young and also the dad doesn't show it the conventional way. That resulted to misunderstandings between them.

Bad acting where? They are literally acting like how they should act based on their characters. Some viewers don't connect with the characters but rather the actors. Lol. When I am watching a drama I always atleast put my foot on the shoes of the characters. Feel how they should act based on their character. There are certain characters that needs extra facial expressions, plot matters, setting, background etc. how do you think byeon woo seok should act as grand prince who is always the second one in life, a royal(always controlled) etc? IU as a daughter who fel neglected but actually warm as a person? Please educate me
