On She and Her Perfect Husband Dec 12, 2022
This show is about a career-driven woman who (after 40 episodes) finally realizes she actually loves the ML who cleans her apartment, washes her feet, offers massages on request, makes her meals, does her laundry, helps her at work, supports her tirelessly through her many work/personal issues...I could go on.

But it would have been better if she had this realization after 30 episodes and the remaining 10 episodes were spent developing a more realistic relationship.

I would call this a "diabolical" drama because it seems to have been designed to inflict maximum pain on the viewer. The lead couple is great and you will want to watch their story. Unfortunately, the writers have surrounded them with very toxic people and most of the 44 episodes are focused on those people and all of the trauma they inflict on the leads. Of course, the leads are so righteous they never do what normal people would do to eliminate this toxicity.

I recommend fresh batteries for your remote control if you decide to watch...

Yes, I agree with you. Most dramas portray the struggle of gaining approval from families prior to marriage. However, in this show the female lead actually breaks up with with her boyfriend just before the wedding "for the benefit of her family". Combine that with the near enslavement of her mother by the Grandmother and Mother-in-law made those scenes for me, particularly difficult to watch.

Hi! Can you recommend a great family drama ? :)
In my opinion, the three best long family dramas in recent years are My Father is Strange, Five Enough, and Go Ahead. There are some I have enjoyed but are not at the same level like Once Again and My Golden Life. Many others I can think of are similar to It's Beautiful now and to each their own.

This is not a bad drama but it is typical of many long family dramas. It started strong for the first ten episodes and then for me, became unwatchable (without frequent use of fast-forward) for the next thirty episodes, and appears to be finishing strong.

In my opinion, the three leads carry the series and are the main reason I am still watching. Be warned, if you are not comfortable watching 30 or 40 year-old "children" being controlled by their "elders" you may have a problem with this series.
On Ever Night Season 2 Sep 10, 2022
Really enjoyed the first season, a lot like Joy of life. Second season was a big disappointment. The major cast changes were jarring for me because I watched both series back-to-back and I have not read the novel. However, I would have gotten past that if the story and pacing were not so poor. I would not have made it through the first half of the series without heavy use of fast-forward. Then it was good for about 12 episodes and then skipped through the rest.

Maybe the reason so many of the season 1 leading characters left was because they had a chance to review the script for season 2 before signing the contract.

This series drags endlessly. Not much has happened in the 16 episodes I have watched. I would not have made it this far without fast forward. It probably would have been much better at 12 or 14 episodes total...

Title Kiss Sixth Sense Spoiler
Enjoyed the first half but the second half was a mess. The 2ML kept hanging around. The 3FL who was prominent in the first half was rarely seen.

The murder mystery was convoluted. Major plot hole--the mother actually knew the name of the killer all along but did not bother to mention it to anyone...

The ending was ridiculous and an example of the lack of care that should have been given to the script.

The premise, talented actors, and production quality were all very good.
