This drama was an absolute mess. what a waste of good talent. I was pretty excited to see Suzy and Woo Bin back together but not like this. I think I skipped to the end just so I can forget I ever watched it.

Ep 17 and 18 was something. loved watching MIL stick up for XY. absolutely adore the relationship between HC and XY. looks like HM is starting to realize he lost a 💎. I am looking forward to how he grovels to get her back because trying to give her money was not a good idea at all. it bothers him to see her struggle but he hasn't quite grasped the concept of why she would rather struggle and what it takes to get her forgiveness. I do want them to end up together mainly because I think neither party was innocent and really knew each other. They need to grow apart before learning to grow together.

Hao ming has never really had anyone walk away from him before. His head is spinning because he can't believe Xu yan would just walk away from everything. Even though he knows how resilient she is, he still doubted that because she's accustomed to the lifestyle she'd be scared to start over. His need to control everything and everyone around him is his real flaw. He has spent his life that way and i am curious to see his facade drop now that he knows Xu yan let him believe he had control over her. Although he said he wouldn't fall in love with her, I think he did along the way without knowing.

There's something so powerful about the scene where she takes her makeup off. Stripping her face bare to show that behind the glitz and glamour theres a person whose tired of pretending to be strong. Whose hurt and broken down. People often admire the lifestyle of the rich but dont know what it takes to carry the weight. I just loved it. Lu si is such a phenomenal actress.

I'm completely addicted to this drama. The writing is amazing. The pacing is just right and the sound track? Love it. Lu si and William are giving me everything i've been missing. The only drawback is having to wait for each episodes to drop.

Mind blowing. I suspected like around ep 7. But i didnt want to assume. Xu yan was almost caught several times that its so clear and hard not to notice. That family is scary. Shen hao ming just always scared me with how calm he was but i suspected there was something hidden underneath it.
