Title Dear X
Any Jae Ho and Ah Jin shippers here? I am loving their friendship. Jae ho got out of prison and clocked into work like he never left. 😂 👏🏽
I just gotta say Ah Jin has her shooters on deck. a lot of ppl are mad at it but i am living for it. finally a FL that's enjoyable to watch. she isn't whiny or sulky. A real boss in the art of manipulation. I am getting a lot of Eve & it's okay to not be okay ( La-el and ko moon yeong) vibe and I love it. Seriously rooting for the trio. if In Gang is AJ next victim, Blame Lena.

You forgot to mention another terrible woman > Tao Jie. The lady who tried to convince YSB to take the money…
oh I didn't forget. she isn't even human. 😂

I didn’t think anyone could disgust me more than Shu Hui, but Chu Chu is truly despicable. I honestly hope Nian Wen never forgives her or takes her back—her lie better have been worth it. What was even the point of quitting her job and making such a dramatic scene at the office, only to turn around and become a backstabbing liar?
Moments like this really make you lose faith in justice. I’ve never been this infuriated before. Some of the women in this drama are just appalling—Sibei’s mother, Chu Chu, Shu Hui… they don’t even deserve to call themselves women.
And now I can only assume Qin Nan’s mother is calling him home to convince him to leave Sibei. Ugh. I hate this drama, but I can’t stop watching—it’s painfully real. Women are the least protected, and that truth stings the most.

I thoroughly enjoyed this drama from start to finish and was genuinely satisfied with the ending. Sure, I wish we had gotten a little bit more — maybe an extra episode or two to explore the characters further — but with just 12 episodes, I think they did the best they could to wrap things up neatly. The pacing was tight, the emotions were raw, and the story held my attention the whole way through.
The actors truly brought this story to life. Every performance felt sincere, even when the characters made choices that had me wanting to pull my hair out. That’s the mark of good acting — when you feel so invested that their decisions frustrate you because you care that much. I’ve always believed Kim Da-mi is a phenomenal actress, but this drama made me love her even more. She has such a rare ability to convey vulnerability and strength all at once.
Please, please give Nam Jun more roles — he deserves them. He’s such a versatile actor who can embody both the villain and the hero with equal brilliance. Every time he’s on screen, he commands attention without even trying. Won Jung was another delightful surprise — charming, funny, and full of heart. His chemistry with the cast added warmth and balance to the more intense moments. And Shin Ye-eun did an excellent job as well; I can’t wait to see her in Murky Stream. I’ve already heard wonderful things about it, and I have no doubt she’ll shine once again.
When it comes to storytelling, it’s important to remember that writing is no easy task. No matter how talented the team is, not everyone will walk away happy — and that’s okay. Stories are meant to move us, challenge us, and sometimes even frustrate us. They’re not meant to be dissected endlessly or overanalyzed to the point where we lose the heart of what they’re trying to say.
We all carry hundreds of memories within us — some beautiful, some painful, and some we’d rather forget. But if there’s one thing this drama reminded me of, it’s that we can’t let the darker moments define who we become. Healing takes time, and the past doesn’t have to hold power over the future. That, to me, is the quiet but powerful message at the core of this story.

I never thought I could hate a person more but wow Shu hui takes the cake. after listening to that video and seeing with her own eyes what a despicable vile pig she married, she still had the audacity to continuously bully Sibei? it just goes to show just how evil some people can be.
and I see them trying to give redemption to Sibei's mom. I rebuke it. none of what she feels or has gone through excuses how she's treated her daughter and the continuous pressure she adds into this matter. Sibei really doesn't have a family. her father is trash and her mother is a poor excuse of a woman. I just hope she continues to find the strength to fight this to the end. oh and chuchu please, please don't disappoint me.🤞🏽

I am in Episode 2 and it is so hard for me to watch too.
I just want better for sibei. She deserves it. I want her to overcome this chapter of her life. Even though its not something you get over so quickly.

I explained what I meant. At this point, you’re arguing for the sake of it. You’re not here to discuss — you just want to argue. I’m done.

I get that you took the wording literally, but let’s be real — context matters. Saying “struggled as much” wasn’t meant to equate their situations, it was shorthand for “she also had her own struggles.” You’re zeroing in on phrasing instead of the actual point, which was never about comparing trauma levels. The intent was clear, even if the wording wasn’t perfect.

You’re reading too much into it. I said they both struggled, not that their situations were equal. Acknowledging both faced hardship doesn’t mean I’m equating abuse with financial issues.

You dont know anything about me so please dont pretend you do. I never compared anyone's abuse. I simply stated YR also didnt have it easy mainly due to the fact that ppl in this comment section keep talking like YR is responsible for JH misfortunes. Which has been my point from the beginning. Please careful with throwing out accusatory claims.

There are people I feel like we're not watching the same drama. For those who say Yeong Rye stole Jong Hee's life,…

I'll tell you why I love Yeong Rye. YR is the eldest daughter in her family. She put her dream aside to work and…
thank you for capturing the image in my head so well. this is how I've always felt about YR. when life gave her lemons's she turned it into lemonade. No one has an easy life in this drama. but to start pushing the idea that one deserves happiness more is what truly annoys me about this comment section. so many people are mis representing YR's Optimism for having an easy life.
On A Hundred Memories Oct 19, 2025
Expecting jong hee to find happiness but not yeong rye is very immature thinking. YR is not responsible for the hard life JH had to live before meeting YR or there after. YR didnt go after JP even though she always wanted him. When she saw he chose JH she stepped aside. When YR was attacked and JH stepped in, YR thought letting her run away would fix the matter and even tried blackmailing her boss to keep the secret. JH chose to not keep in contact with YR all those years. JH breaking up wit JP had nothing to do with YR because she never knew about it. Hearing JH turn everything into YR fault pissed me off. If she truly cared about their friendship then she wouldnt be throwing everything she claims she selflessly did in YR face to guilt her. YR isnt to blame for having a family that loves her. She struggled just as much as JH. Taking care of her siblings. Not going to college. Her mother working herself into the hospital. But after years of not going after what she wants YR has become a woman. She's more confident and self assured which is how I choose to look at it. The friendship started out innocently but became something else due to JH's jealousy after 7 years. Because not once has YR coveted what JH had. Alot of people here are clearly not mature enough to handle a drama the depicts the reality of life. Its ironic that YR has been labled playing the victim, when she's never once whined about why things don't work out. She's always picked herself up and tried to do the best she can. Yet the only one's whining and playing victim are JH fans and JH. Life isnt fair. You deal with the cards you are dealt and find a way to turn things around or you wallow. Its clear who the latter are by some of these comments.

Well to be fair JH has said she wanted to be Miss Korea since the start so it's not random. I feel like the ending…
She's had ample time to go for that dream. and also YR never wanted to be miss Korea, she was practically thrown into it due to JH 's mom being a bonafide hater. hopefully YR and JP end up together.
On A Hundred Memories Oct 13, 2025
sorry not sorry, Jong hee is not a friend and never was. I don't know what makes ppl so confused about this drama. it's very clear. it's been clear since the first episode, when Yeong rye and Jae Pil met first. Jong hee was never going to be the front runner. her signing up all of a sudden to be miss korea, is very vindictive and not surprising. I've met girls like Jong hee who are use to getting what they want and the moment they don't, the horns begin to show. How people can paint Yeong rye as the bad guy is laughable to me. she's never tried to undermine JH feeling's. she lost her job mainly because of JH mother and stayed silent and went out job hunting and now that she's found a bit of stability, here comes JH again. she's never wanted YR to walk side by side next to her. only ever a step behind. a friend that feels they need to compete with you is not a friend. Also, asking YR brother if me and your sister fought whose back would you have? is such a bizarre thing to ask and just shows how bad minded she is.
On A Hundred Memories Oct 11, 2025
I have no clue what ppl are talking about jong hee is not a friend. She's known about yeong rye feelings for a long time and pretended not to know. In my opinion coming back after 7 years to duke it out with your friend over a guy just makes you look worse. Asking her to help you get the guy she is into is also selfish and self centered. Especially since she willingly dumped him yeong rye never asked her to. She chose to. I'm team yeong rye right or wrong.
