As far as i understand from the novel it was before the engagement, the reason why she bcame worst bcoz of wenchuan gave her toxic to prevent happening of engagement.. But for me i find it beautiful and happy ending coz they both died at the end and it means even in the afterlife theyre meant to be.. Hehehe, sorry for my own perception. BaiLu is my only favorite chinese actress.. My first drama that i watched her is "King is not Easy" , i was amazed on her natural beauty compare to the other actress who look like unreal. After that i followed her nxt drama and i was felt in love with her love team xukai bcoz of the legends and AMA but after the scandal between them, her incoming drama bcame less, and i was so sad about that.. It was such a blessing for her to be part of Love is sweet, so she can able to stand again and shine bright until now.. She deserve more bcoz shes really a great actress.. Hopefully more success to her career, always supporting her:) ❤️

I agree with u, i notice that rjl arent giving an eye contact with bailu, or i can say he makes an eye contact but its like empty unlike in ONO theres so much in his eyes when looking at bailu,.. maybe bcoz FAF shoot first and ONO follow, so the closeness and bond between them are develop already in ONO..
