This the first time I've watched him haha so I can't compare this to a previous work but I've heard only good things about him in He is Psychometric? but again, I wouldn't know. I do certainly have complains about the development of all non-Yohans in this drama. Especially Soohyun they did my girl dirty

He's not the best in the cast but to hold up against Ji Sung with so little experience makes me anticipate his acting. Personally though, I felt Baek Hyun Jin ( who plays the president) had the best acting in this drama.

oh yes absolutely it makes so much more sense this way. i wish they'd emphasized it more though maybe some ppl wouldn't hate ga on so much if this happened. and the house scenes would make much more sense. i wonder what the production team was thinking?

this is why ga on has so many scenes in yohan's house and it also changes yohan's character. he was not meant to be the hero ppl think he is I wonder why they are glorifying his character like this

oh my god I just saw that in the original script Yohan blows Ga On's house up.
Kang Yohan made it look like the bombing is from the foundation group (Jung Seon-ah also want to blow up his house to give warning but K did it first) to make Gaon continue to stay at his house. This explains so much oh my god they are crazy for editing it out

inspired by a certain former american president right? I thought so too but I wasn't sure. Ahh SML's lack of experience in these kinds of roles shows sometimes. He is not bad at all, has a lot of potential too I would say but yes here while he did very well in quite a few scenes, in some scenes he stuck out. It will come with experience I guess. His character isn't written very well either tbh no character except ML and niece is written well.
The drama is good but I wish they had focused on developing the rest of them properly too. Don't want to be too hard on SML tbh I did enjoy his acting a lot as Isaac? and in most scenes as Ga On. I also liked Cha Kyung Hee's acting a lot?

true I feel like the writer didn't spend enough time on the others and the direction favors ml and his niece too. You need to think very hard to get what's going on from the other character's perspective. It also doesn't help that Ji Sung's acting is very strong so you can't help but be drawn to his storyline. I am not saying the rest of the cast did not do well but they are still young and Ji Sung's in a league of his own

Ji sung is phenomenal in this drama I watched it for him and I really do not regret it. The rest of the cast does well too!!

oh yes and I think why some people might not find it as fun? like there's a lot of struggle and the protagonists make some really frustrating decisions so it's difficult to watch sometimes. I do think it's fun now and honestly I really enjoyed the last 5 or so episodes

As for the actor I think he's good enough? I thought he was a little too baby faced to play Ga On at first but he's holding up? He is no Ji sung but I'd say he's doing well in portraying Kim Ga On's naive but rebellious nature? I would like to see him in a romance drama after this I think he does those scenes and the emotional scenes well

Hmm I don't disagree with you but good guy gone bad isn't the right term for it? More like struggling with his morals?
I feel like Kim Ga On is supposed to be naive and idealistic but when he sees that the ideals he thought existed do not exist, he tries dabbling into the other ways of achieving justice. The issue is he is not sure if those are correct either. I think Kim Ga On is a very wishy-washy character who does not have opinions of his own and simply does what people ask him to do to please them. Epsiode 12 is the first time he took a stand of his own and I think it's going to be a turning point for his character.
