OMG I found out who is the third villain, apparently is Shi Lei, the friend of Guanfeng. Not sure if Zang Hai…
From beginning he seemed suspicious. I has thought how he is so much involved in their personal revenge. He has nothing to do with the whole story. He is always happy to help which seems unreal. He is not the third villain because he is about their age. Let's see for whom he is working. If he is really in villain side, the backstabbing would be very expensive.
could be both? I feel like it might be too early to judge. he was a good cousin when he was introduced and as…
Okay.. I don't know about much about the source material so can't tell. Hopefully nothing major misunderstanding will happen between ML and FL because of him.
end of ep 11: is he testing her or is he really cunning?
Same question i also have. I am feeling he doesn't like Wei Shao and will do everything to trouble him. Another thing can be like he is also a hater of Qiao family, so he is troubling Qiao Man. How Wei Shao is behaving with him feels like he likes his cousin very much and see him like a good friend. But overall he is a annoying guy. How he is supposed to be the charming guy !!??
While rewatching you can just have more meaning or fun to understand. I have finished ep 10 and how Joong Gil killed that rapist was one of the iconic scenes of this drama. First Koo Ryun made sure he would have severe punishment and then He made sure he died violently. These two were made for each other—the power couple.
Is the male lead also someone from normal world? :D I am only on ep 5 and I cant shake the feeling he might be.…
In the previous drama of this pair he also was a writer. FL was also writer and editor in that drama. Another fact is the 2nd ML of this two drama are same.
Watched 3 episodes and the way they made the husband look so good... I can already predict how the ending will…
Yes he is just so sweet guy who has become victim of one sided love. From family pressure to not able find woman for himself who would be good for him. Finally fell in love but sigh...
I don't know who is disrespecting the original. As a Kdrama fan, I was excited about the remake but I wasn't impressed. My problem was most of the twists were the same, and for a thriller that spoiled the whole experience. Some parts of the remake were good, like their backstories and motivations, which were more serious, whereas in the original, it felt like they were doing it out of fun. For the professor and Berlin, it was their family passion, which I didn't understand really. A serious strong inspector will not just fall in love with a random person in the midst of a big heist she was handling. Korean one covered it more logically that she was with the Professor for two months already.
And for a Korean show, they didn't go for instant fling. Like Berlin for the original was doing with a hostage, instead remake gave him a steady love interest. I actually loved this. Korean one chose the Rio Tokyo love story as a slow burn, this much slower that was not wrapped in the show. I like this one but I liked the original one too.
If most of the twists are kind of copied from the original one then how can people complain about the original one? The OSTs of the original one are incomparable. Bella Chao was so hit and even if you listen to the introductory OSTs they left a strong impression. I can't believe not a single OST even had any impression on me from the Remake one.
The original was fun. They tapped all emotions to be honest and of course filmy. Whereas the Korean one was always kind of serious all the time and their escape plan execution was poor. it felt just wrap up as soon as possible. And the Professor how the actor played at the Spanish, I don't think anyone can match that. I had hope for our Korean one too because I had watched him at Mad Dog, he was also the leader there and did great. But unfortunately, every time I saw him here, the original Professor was popping into my mind.
The Korean one is good but the original is original. It is my opinion only if they didn't follow the same story and just took inspiration I guess they would do better. At the same platform same story just in different language where people like us watch them in subtitles which one would prefer for a rewatch. Korean remakes are great, this one is also good, and the changes they have made were also commendable. But there was no uniqueness here. Maybe the change of different types of characters who would build a whole different team and they would heist for something else would be great to watch.
I am at Episode 23. It seems the team planned the ending all along, from the beginning of the story. Though Helian Xi checked on his daughter often but never tried to convince her to call him father, and now Feng Yuan also doing the same. On the other hand Xi Ju after coming 1 day the child mistook him as her father. Then the Cousin and XiJu's bonding, everything foreshadows their future together.
This drama's review is just so divided. Some really like it and some are bashing. I really like it, rewatched it a couple of times, it's one of my fav Wuxia dramas.
But overall he is a annoying guy. How he is supposed to be the charming guy !!??
