I wrote what I wrote, and some points are meant to those with clear negativity. Those who don't shall not be hurt, besides constructive comments are always welcome. If they are open to discussion, it's good but some, they just stated their statement of hate. There's difference of that. Both leads are well known for their previous work together, also their other notable works so just like people have their expectations, hate and dislikes purely out of the topic will also be there.

Has the drama completed?

It’s odd how some people watch a drama just to tear it apart without actually watching it. A drama doesn’t need to be #1 on the charts for it to be meaningful to someone, or to leave a quiet mark on their heart. Not every story is meant to be a high-speed, plot-twist-heavy spectacle. Some are meant to be slow, healing, or reflective. It’s okay if it’s not for you, but it doesn’t mean it has no value for others.

People have gotten so used to chasing ‘top trending’ lists that they forget stories aren’t competitions.
Some of the most quietly beautiful stories live outside the spotlight, resonating deeply with people who find them at the right moment in life.

This drama owns the hearts of so many viewers, I believe domestically and internationally. It's just that people who truly like it don't go around saying "This is good, I love it" like how verbal and strong those who don't did. There are shortcomings of course, not everything about this drama is perfect but that's okay, that's how it is. A drama.

Those beautifully written dramas that are aligned with your fantasy, are they always like that in real life? No right, so does this one. So why bother to compare in the first place? The theme and diversity of "youth", "slice of life" are so wide, why limit them to a few specific dramas? If one only watches a series with such a mindset, I guess directors no longer need to create more drama, and you guys too, feel free to only rewatch those you already have good opinions about. 😊

You know what’s funny? Some people genuinely don’t understand what a youth drama is meant to be. The essence of a youth drama lies in its near life-like pacing—slow, sometimes vague, allowing moments to breathe while showing how each experience connects to family, friends, and even those we don’t get along with. It’s a human-centered production, made by people, not AI, which is exactly why it isn’t rushed or shallow for the sake of quick entertainment.

At the end of the day, it’s a drama. If it doesn’t suit your taste, you’re free to drop it quietly. But leaving unnecessary negative comments just because it isn’t tailored to your preferences feels forced and reveals more about you than the drama itself. Let people enjoy the stories that speak to them. A wise commentator wouldn't deliberately open a space to talk about negativity, they'd give constructive comments instead. To those who are still new and haven't watched much episodes, start it with no expectations and remember, it's a youth drama where things can either be absolutely boring or absolutely amazing, it's balanced.

The role she took this time differs a lot from her previous one. In fact, she tries new roles all the time and the fact that there are some hateful comments towards the negative parts of her character just prove that she's doing it well. I truly believe Li Rong and Wen Xuan both will have better character development as the drama goes on. Like you said, hopefully people gon watch it without taking others opinions in too much. It is still ongoing, not even 15 episodes out, there's much more to discover and they are yet to truly understand each other, the time will surely comes.

Everybody knows that, afterall I'm just being sarcastic to those that keep being negative in every aspect 😭
