Why do BLs treat tops and bottoms as totally different genders? //I feel like they used this as an excuse to get…
There are actually people who have these crises. I know like 2 "total tops" who have said they would never bottom and had serious identity crises (probably due to internalized homophobia) when they finally found a partner they were willing to bottom for. So it's actually a real thing not just a bl thing.
While lots of people might disagree, I feel like I get why the push at the end had to happen unfortunately. It's the ultimate biblical ending where innocent children end up paying for the sins of their parents. Taehyun's mum had her last chance at possible redemption when he begged her to leave everything behind and start over someplace new. But she couldn't let go and ended up paying with her son's life. Both she and President Huh kept using their son as an excuse for the disgusting acts they kept committing and at the end that son whose future they were trying to protect ended up dead.
So, him and johnny was not consensual? Or did he think he was with jin...jun? and gave dubious consent.
Nothing happened. Johnny didn't go through with the r*pe. However, Johnny is a disgusting character and I hope the show tackles the issue regarding the attempt better than the anime and Manga.
I need a spoiler please I've watched the anime & tried to read the manga. I'm on Episode 3The *other man in bed…
Nothing actually happened based on the anime and Manga. He tried but didn't go through with it cos Akin called Jin's name and he felt "offended". That doesn't discount the seriousness of what he tried to do though. Cos it was a r*ape attempt.
I've loved Boom since "Chains of heart". That plot was questionable to be honest š but you couldn't tell me nothing cos of Boom. I didn't know I could admire him more than I already did and then this drama comes along ššš. What an Actor!!
this point, if Thailand decides to do an adaptation of my favourite Chinese novel(svsss, heaven official's blessing)…
I've been hoping for adaptations of the novels you mentioned. But my worry is, the Chinese industry has perfected the art of xianxia and wuxia dramas and I worry if done elsewhere, will the quality be up to par? Even the way the actors fight in these dramas, the Chinese actors are phenomenal in those roles and take their martial arts training seriously. I love Thai dramas, but in terms of quality, I feel the Chinese dramas are better in general.
I have never experienced this is my life. I do not get the purpose of the honey at all. It was just to much for…
This show is a Manga adaptation and we all know that bl Manga's are not famous for being realistic. I don't really see the big deal, it's an iconic scene amongst the Manga fans and the actors held their own.
I don't want to spoil you too much but unless the show changes it's trajectory and intentionally makes it more…
I agree with you. I love the adaptation so far. They have kept the essence of the story while reducing the toxic elements in the Manga and Anime.Hope they keep it that way.
Just finished catching up on the four episodes AND watching the trailer... and Iām obsessed. This has instantly…
I don't want to spoil you too much but unless the show changes it's trajectory and intentionally makes it more hard wrenching, the Johnny issue will not go too far and the misunderstanding will quickly be solved. Mind you, Jin is so down bad for Akin. He sees him as his whole world and you can't tell him nothing about the man he loves, he will always defend and protect his P'Akin. The issue is that, Akin over thinks sometimes and is a tsudare as you know. But this show has kinda softened his character a bit, in the Manga and Anime he was more closed off emotionally. I love how boom portrays him here. Boom is too cute I tell you ā¤ļøā¤ļø. This was a 10/10 for me.
Why did the Chinese series Jin and Akin star in look like a mix of the plot from the novels "The husky and his white cat shizun", and "The scum villain's self saving system" ?? I would really love a live action of these shows if China wouldn't get around to it. They are just wasting their huge market potential.
I want clarity on those so I can decide if I'll continue or not and I really want to continue as that honey scene…
Based on the Manga and Anime there will be a lot of so called "dubcon" scenes between Jin and Akin. Maybe the live action will take a different route. We just have to wait and see.
This! To be honest, all three suitors are red flags, just in varying degrees. The issue I have with Seonghyeon…
Those ones are certified nutcases no doubt about that. That's why I didn't even bother to mention them. I was just pointing out that Seonghyeon is no saint either, It's just that he is the least problematic of the three. That's just my own opinion, it doesn't mean that others are not allowed to like him.
I don't know exactly, but in the manga he was called Angel because of his appearance and calm personality, although…
Yeah... Unfortunately that's some of the toxic troupes in Yaoi that writers need to be done with. Yes Johnny will try to SA Akin but he won't get to do it because Akin will keep mumbling Jin's name which will turn him off apparently. I also never liked the fact that after the near SA incident in the Manga and Anime, they acted like nothing happened. Like Johnny didn't try to SA Akin. As for Jade, he was never going to SA Akin but was supposedly playing around and trying to test Akin to determine if he still had feelings for Jin cos by that time they had taken a break I think. As for Jin, their relationship is the same tropy Japanese falling in love with someone who came on to you aggressively but it's all right cos you end up liking it? If that makes sense. It's more of a dubious consent thing going on. Not that I in anyway subscribe to such. But if you read Yaoi especially Japanese Yaoi, you will know that dubcon is a staple in lots of their stories.
You are welcome š.
