"The perfect drama doesn't exi-" Never in my life have I ever watched half of the entirety of a 32 episode show in one go. As soon i started that first episode i couldn't stop. It got hella addictive as it did better with every next episode. Even now I'm in awe of how beautiful crafted this show was. Deep, heartwarming, wholesome, beautiful, funny, cute, emotional are some of the manyyy terms that could describe this show. One of a kind, this drama is a gem. Do yourself a favour and watch it.
I feel you. Like why... The soldier would´ve propably missed anyway. At least Jin Ah survived. Propably they…
Exactly! Honestly, there were many ways they could've made at least the two main leads survive. But it's just very shocking and unexpected how they dealt w the female lead. :'( But then again, like you said, that's probably how it was "supposed" to go from the start. 💔 Since it's supposed to be more like a "documentary" of the real events that took place, they maybe didn't have much of a choice but to go this route in order to give the viewers that real "tragedy" effect.
If only I had scrolled down here and read these comments before starting this drama...seeing this after just watching the last episode does not help at all. 💔ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
How come they do not make this kind of drama anymore?
Because of K-pop. The standard K-pop has set in present time is nearly impossible to beat. K-pop existed back then as well yes, but it was not as wide a culture as it's today. Bands of the likes of BTS have set the threshhold at a peak that's rly hard to meet now. Therefore unless someone comes up with an almost groundbreaking theme or storyline, it's hard to tell if another such show would pop up that'll amass a massive audience and popularity.
I'm contemplating picking this up
