You probably shouldn't have started with this one if this is your first Thai drama, there are definitely better…
I don't know how many Thai dramas you've watched but if Vice Versa is your first one which is actually pretty bad I agree, you should try others before judging all Thai's productions. For Thai BL dramas, you can try : I Told Sunset About You, Bad Buddy, The Miracle of Teddy Bear, KinnPorsche, Triage, The Shipper, SOTUS. And non-BL drama: Bad Genius, The Gifted, Girl from nowhere, In Family we trust.
I'm not a Thai speaker, but I found Thai language more pleasant for my ears than Korean, it didn't feel weird at all when I watched a Thai drama for the first time.
The firsts 2 episodes were very entertaining, but episode 3, I only enjoyed flashback of the real Tun, the rest is bland... sorry but I can’t feel it, the "romantic" moments between the two leads.
In need of another romance BL while I'm waiting for new episodes. Can someone offer me some recommendations please?…

I’ve just realized some of the BL dramas I didn’t like : Theory of Love, 2gether, Fish Upon the Sky are all written by JittiRain... I hope Vice Versa and You are my Favorite won’t disappoint me, I’m hyping for them since I’ve watched their 1st teaser... So far Vice Versa (only 1 ep) is good but it has this "wife" bottom thing in the preview for next episode.
VegasPete stole all the spotlight of this show ! Vegas has the saddest (his pet Sonic and dad’s death) and sweetest (the last scene with Pete and Macau ☺) moment.
Next season : VegasPete and Macau, TimeTay, Tankhun pleaseee!

For Japanese BL drama : - Utsukushii Kare - Life : Senjou no Bokura - Kimi no koto dake mite itai - Zettai BL - Ossan’s Love (unfortunately a lot of users on MDL don’t appreciate it)
For Thai BL drama : - The Miracle of Teddy Bear - Triage - The Shipper (not really a BL but the BL story is so good)
Japanese BL Anime : - Fuyu no Semi (it’s an OVA of 3 episodes, it’s set in Meiji era)
It’s so sweet ! My english is not very good so I don’t know how to express it : No weird love song is played when they kiss, no big close-up, the main characters have real interactions with other characters and worry about them or they are just curious about other people. I feel this drama is so natural, convincing, well it doesn’t feel cheap unlike a lot of BL drama (and hetero drama). In short : it's beautiful !
In Japanese drama, the MCs are never (or rarely) shown as the center of the world, eventhough sometimes they are in their own world and don’t care about their surroundings but this would be a trait of personnality of the character not because it’s bad written. In most of Thai BL dramas, we usually see side characters worrying or curious about the main CP but never (or rarely) the other way around, it feels like they are just there to make the main CP look good...
I agree with you! This is the worst BL drama I’ve ever watched, it’s so cringy! 😱 So cringy that I even wanted to punch the main characters and break my screen.
