did i miss anyone? sufficient to say the screenwriter is also toxic if anything to take from more than half of this drama. none of the characters here deserve any redemption arc in my honest opinion. they all deserve bad karma if at all it exists for antagonists in kdrama land. what a frustrating drama this is. the ML god knows for what joy is playing dumb not revealing hes the brother. the female lead god knows for what joy feels guilty even after yrs for a slip and fall that she wasnt responsible for at all.

ep 8 .....im gonna drop this series here. 26 yr olds are shown to act as 15 yr old hormonal teens. next level harassment normalized... the 2nd male lead is the worst kinda character there can exist who bullys in the name of his ex and also pursues another girl simultaneously??!!wtf. He cant hold a decent convo without throwing a punch first. The coaches daughter is simply not normal if she still pursues a guy like him. If someone throws a punch at others like that in real life they will wake up in a hospital bed with broken limbs next morning. There are no saints in this world who get away with physical abuse against a well built sportsperson. They will get decked in return as well. What i dislike abt this drama is how the writer is letting all the bullys and horrible coaches off the hook and trying to paint them in a better way or justifying their actions. The target audience for this show in majority is ofcourse young teenagers who are led to believe all this is normal in real life. and for those special talents who will jump the wagon to criticise my take on this here are also apart of the problem because they are indeed proving my point as to how the writer is making the young impressionable teens watching this show to believe that this show is totally within normal realms. yikes. I hate that i started watching this drama.
As a badminton player the on court scenes are absolutely unbearable to watch without cringing...if it's not possible to show a decent play don't shoot the scenes at all and just cut to post game like stove league did. Also literally every coach and player in this are insufferably mean or miserable. It doesn't happen like that irl tbh.

In ep5 the confrontation between ML and 2ndML where ML "requests" the later to undo what he conspired against the FL is so dumb. IRL 2nd ML would have been beaten to a pulp and would be an outcast for his trash attitude. They try to legitimize the head coach by making him tear up the contract implying we should now forget all the bitchy things he has done until now and accept he was a gud character all along. The daughter of head coach aint no saint either in that aspect. The senior lady player who harrassed FL in initial eps is now suddenly all changed in ep5 out of the blue without any contributing factor and starts shielding FL by asking her to "isolate" while being bullied. The writer first of all has written such a crappy characters and over that he keeps changing the core behavior of a character out of blue.... its so trippy. Also the 2nd ML who is on a vengeance drive for his "ex" is already courting the coaches daughter???? and coaches daughter knows what a scum the 2nd ML is and the way he treats her father and herself included and yet she is head over heels for him even after all that happening?.......either the koreans irl are actually this messed up or the writer keeps his brain at home and comes for work. even wannabe wattpad writers have a better story line and character build than this crap.
