The drama tells the story about twelve years ago a human girl rescued a drowning black leopard which she did not know was a demon from the Ferry Soul.
The black leopard turned into a boy, Xuan Ye. The soaking Xuan Ye kissed the girl tenderly and water accidentally splashed into Ban Xia’s eyes which gave her eyes supernatural power. She can suddenly see monsters.
Over the years, the girl became the ‘crazy girl’ of the village because of her power to see unreal monsters.
The drama is based on the novel "Ban Xia" by Ban Ming Ban Mei, it tells the romantic story of a mysterious demon hunter, Xuan Ye, who meets a young girl, Ban Xia. they experience strange and mysterious cases together in a world where humans and demons coexist and find out the origins of Xuan Ye.
most of the c-dramas are sucks in their first episodes, even Love and Redemption was a horror in the first episode. It usually gets better and gets amazing afterwards... Just need patience. I'm sure it's going to be awesome and definitely worth our time! don't give up!

Hi! Just saying: I'm been waiting for this drama so much too, and it's really getting hard to wait, so in the meantime I'm watching "Mirror: A Tale of Twin Cities" and it's so good, so I can keep waiting patiently. So if you're like me (and love all this kind of drama and just can not wait) - go for the drama I mentioned for now, you will not be disappointed. Hope it will help someone;)
