I just have to say that in the drama "The Promise of the Soul" he looks so similar to china actor Chen Zhe Yuan... they really could be like brothers in that style. I actually came to this page just to check it out, and when I saw his picture I thought- wait, that's not him. But the cast list says it's him. It's amazing how much the hair color and makeup style made him look exactly like Chen Zhe Yuan.

Yep. Whats the point of giving him roles if they dont intend to broadcast his dramas.
Well, TBOY was a huge success, yet they only released one drama after it (WH) and left the rest on the shelf... Let's just say I don't trust Youku to release anything anymore, with or without success it doesn't matter to them. It seems like it's a hobby for them or something... But let's hope that now that they've finally released 2 dramas (FUWD+TAD) we won't have to wait long for the rest... Not sure if I should keep hoping though.

Is it just me but it feels like it was adapted from the novel in which fight for love was based on.
I was thinking the exact same thing as you! Except for a few small things, so far it feels like a copy-paste of "Fight for Love".

i know who's certain person fans are they. they do that to all drama that is getting too much attention. pathetic…
HMH is a good actor, he played every role they gave him excellently, but for this drama? Hmmm... His face doesn't seem right to me, too young. On the other hand, GJ is also a great actor and he captured the character properly. Anyone who has watched the anime will understand how good he is at portraying his character, and his face is appropriate. He looks mature, more appropriate for the age that SMY is supposed to be.
When I watched FOF I saw that HMH could definitely play more mature roles, but I still think GJ is more suited to this drama.
Anyway, I can't imagine anyone else playing SMY since episode 10, I think... and from the beginning he was great, very much in line with the anime version of his character.
If these people really think HMH is better suited for this character, then they should go watch his dramas again to fill their time, instead of coming here and wasting it with comments and comparisons between the actors.
This is a great drama. GJ is great here. HMH himself is a great actor. If you are here - watch GJ and enjoy. If you don't enjoy it - stop watching, go watch something else.
I don't understand why they keep basing it only on the fact that they prefer HMH over GJ here. The plot is brilliant, the drama is rhythmic, the actors are all very good. And even if one actor seems to them a little less successful in his role... they only rate a drama based on that?? It's pathetic to me. Sorry.

Yes, it's before TBOY. You can definitely watch it as a standalone, just like DY, which is a stand-alone prequel.…
Happily. Even though I watched it quite a while ago, from what I remember in TBOY - SCH was already dead. From what is understood there, SCH became the patriarch, and SMY became the head of the Su family. But SMY killed him at some point later because he became too cruel... The question is whether the series will show that or will it end with SMY being the head of the Su family, and SCH being the patriarch... Honestly, for me I hope for a happy ending, but who knows. Hope I helped. Have a good day!

OK... And yes, you're right. Agree to disagree. This time I did like your wording, correct and to the point. Good night.

I understand what you mean, but the problem is in your wording... But it doesn't matter, if I haven't been able to explain to you by now what's offensive about it, I probably won't be able to either. The point is how it sounds from what you wrote... But it doesn't matter.
I appreciate the fact that you're trying to put an end to this annoying commentor, I just don't like the way it's done, and I was hoping to bring it to your attention, that's all.
Good night!

Well, it's a bit of a shame that you can't skip their comments, really, they're just annoying. But fine if that's how you like it.
Regarding what I mentioned that you didn't talk nicely about, I'll quote you at your request "clearly Hou Minghao isn't that great if his little fans are camping in someone else's comment section...doing anything else but raising the hit index for his dramas." If you read what you wrote again, I'm sure you'll understand how offensive it is. And that's what I meant. Besides, it's also a comment that insults his fans... but I'm sure you didn't mean it. I just mentioned it so you'll pay attention in the future. That's it. Have a good day!

Just wanted to be sure: technically this is a sort of prequel (at least it is set before The Blood of Youth)?…
Yes, it's before TBOY. You can definitely watch it as a standalone, just like DY, which is a stand-alone prequel. But if you've watched TBOY, then you have a spoiler about the ending of this drama. Or at least, the ending that's probably going to be, because the anime remains unfinished for now, and from what I understand, the original story isn't finished yet either, which is probably why the anime hasn't ended yet.
Hope I helped... Enjoy watching!

I think this is the most civilized comment section that's why wackos like that lowlife badgersupremejackass can…
Okay, I really agreed with your comment until you mentioned HMH. Like, never mind whether or not we agree on his level of acting (which is perfectly fine in my opinion most of the time + his pretty face) but why trash talk another player with your comment? That's not nice of you.
Don't get me wrong, I understand your anger about these unfair remarks about GJ's acting (which really matches the anime as it should in my opinion), and I also think it's really wrong, but there's no need to trash another actor because of it, especially if it's because of another toxic comment you read.
It's just a shame to keep spreading this poison. You see a comment like this again? Just skip it, these are people who are probably really bored with their lives. That's what I try to do, anyway. No need to trash other actors for that. Have a good day!

Planning on watching this, how is it so far?
This is great. This drama is much better than I expected, and is very, very consistent with the anime version. Don't pay attention to everything people say about the main actor's acting - first of all, I watch for the plot, and it's very interesting right now, and the fight scenes are really good too. And I'm not a fan of GJ, but his acting here is actually really good - really consistent with the anime version. Anyone who is commenting on his acting right now probably hasn't watched the anime version that this drama follows. But like I said, the story is what matters. The anime version doesn't have an ending yet, so it's very interesting and I'm curious where the plot will lead, considering what we already know about their ending from "TBOY"...
But that's just my opinion, anyway. But if you choose to watch it, I believe you won't be disappointed. Enjoy watching!

Trailer is 🔥I'm looking forward to seeing Zheng Xin Cheng in this, the guy is so talented.
Yes, he really is an amazing actor. I really enjoyed his acting in "Justice in the Dark", it was actually the first time I was really impressed by his acting, and since then I've been looking forward to his future works!
Ding Yuxi is also really good, I've watched a lot of his dramas and enjoyed the variety of characters this man is able to bring to life!
Two such good actors, I'm really looking forward to the moment this drama airs!
And regardless, I also quite liked Daomu Biji's series, especially Ultimate Note. I'm currently watching Time Raiders, and it's also very good.
Hope to see this drama soon!

I guess they will have to split it in 2 seasons with 1 year apart🙄. They better air this really soon
"Love Like the Galaxy" aired before they passed a rule that prohibited airing two seasons one after the other. Today, from what I know, unfortunately, the rule is that requires a year's difference between the broadcast of one season and the next.
But anyway, hope it airs soon!

Wanted to love this so much as big fan of Allen Ren but it's a drop after Episode 11.If I have to look at Song…
The truth is, I've been a fan of Ren Jia Lun for years, and he's acting great here as usual, but this drama in particular made me really impressed with Song Zuer. If you choose to keep watching, you'll see how her acting has gotten really good. The thing is, until episode 11, her character doesn't really develop and she plays according to the role that was dictated to her, so that's the result, but she really made me identify with her and almost cry with her afterwards. You could say that after the story in the drawing (even though this part just went on too long in my opinion) her character really grew on me. She's such a good actress!
I've only seen her before in the drama "The Dark Lord," and I don't remember her leaving a special impression on me, but this time she proved herself! I'm definitely going to follow all of her future works from now on.

Bad endings? or boring endings?
She meant sad endings... A sad ending is generally called a "bad ending" by viewers. Allen is known for his well-executed tragic endings. As for the other actress, I assume that's what it means, too, but I haven't watched enough of her other dramas to judge.
