Can i just appreciate the cuteness of San niang and the scholar. OMG they are so damn cute with all the push and pull. I'm so happy for her to finally found someone who loves her more and respect her for whoever she is.
I stumble this drama by accident and fall for it right away. The cinematography is excellent. All the detail and stunning film set. So far (episode 14) I love the script a lot !!!! I pray hard it won't focus too much triangle love between FL, ML and (quite) her dense best-friend. I want more on the character growth. P/s: I agree with some comment here about the ML exudate the matured man pheromone. Nothing bad to say about the FL, she is ambitious, relatable in love issue, elegance and smart. Love them both.

I'd miss this germ in 2020 and just found it now. I'm a big fan of ancient costume drama. Kudos to the cinematographer, director and all the staff. The costume, character, story flow and plot twist is interesting. Though ML is specially new to me, but boy you got potential! Awaiting season 2! I'm a fan on how all female character write up in this story. Love them
I rarely commented for a drama but this one is exceptional as die hard fan of OnO this surely a healing for me the storyline is slow but I love how the built the relationship between ML and FL, its quite relatable for those who awkwardly never been in a relationship Allen portraying ZSC might be different from the original novel that I imagine but somehow I think he reach the character set up by director and screenwriter. He convincingly portray each and every moment as an awkward-cute-somehow stuck in complicated family relationship so well. His micro expression on taking care those who matter the most in his life is so on point. ZSC maybe awkward but I love hoe he try to be in sync with Shiyi. I love how the writer put him as atheist but at the end he bow to his ancestor for the one matter the most in his life. He proved to shiyi parents that he is capable to live and take care os Shiyi no matter in what state. Bai Lu is truly awesome in this, no word can describe her acting. She own this and OnO with no doubt (Allen too of course) been a fan of her for a long time surely never disappoint. Drop dead gorgeous lady with straightforward approach in relationship. I'm quite envy on how both character support each other especially Shiyi.
Same as everyone how I hope they can follow the original story line, which I'm sure it will more interesting. But, I'm satisfied how they stick to almost 90% of the original.
Big thanks to all the staff, screenwriter, director and backbone of this amazing drama. The best prequel for this year, hats off!
