Sudden interesting bomb drop from Iqiyi. Been watching episode 1-6 straight. It's quirky, interesting, good directing so far. But it's too early to hail it with praise. Let's hope for a better ending at least.
P/s: Guess I'm still traumatised by the LYN drama

I thought, we had hope when watching ep 18 since thera are 2 episode left. But... by the look on how ep 19 goes. I think the present story already ended. Unless they put twist of reincarnation in the plot

I agree, he is king of short drama but not enough to satisfy our crave for his acting

Can the actor and actress stop doing such a heart wrenching drama? There are a lot of plot hole and unnecessary drama, but their acting just make me kinda like ignore all of them and just enjoy the angst. I really hope Richard can explore long length drama but kind of scared he will choose the similar sad ending character since he had done lots of it.

I literally got goosebump every each time he emphasise his real name "call me Huo_Wu_shang". Gosh LBY/HBY and his psychopath moment.

I cried for everyone empress/LBY/CSS even YS is pitiful. But, the directing, execution and acting for these last few episodes is splendidly awesome! Gonna continue crying in the corner for a moment.

kudos to director, scriptwriter and every behind the scene staff. they surely work tirelessly to bring the essence of this drama to the top notch. they just set the bar high up. Now I'm scared of the final week. Please let the pace maintained till the end, no rush ending. pleaseeeee.

Love the balance between humour, romance and seriousness in today episodes. its a roller coaster ride of emotion. it actually in every episode lols.

OMG consort Yue appearance and work like WOW! Noticed how emperor complexion change once she's there. It's like 'Yes, there goes my wife who can put everyone in place'. Especially with their exchange glance before she sat down hahahaha. Love it to the core.

They know what's going on but so flabbergasted on how naive their daughter is (facepalm) and she don't even realize how powerful LBY and YS are! ROFL

Because she's blind hahahah no offense to her fans. I know it's part of character development, who can blame young foolish naive young lady to differentiate between affectionate love and puppy love.

the angst of watching LBY way of making sure her life will not be miserable in Lou family. Smart move but whyyyyyyyy. I'm really having hote and love relationship in slow burning romance drama

I don't know why but somehow I imagine him as old aunty who loved to adore sweet couple and will keep teasing them as much as he can. Like full shipper mood ON! let the plot rolling ha3

Hahahaha he is totally upset about it. Glad that he doesn't force their relationship (since he's totally can do that with utmost authority) and respecting his godson request to find his real love on his own.

I'm a fan of the emperor!!! Love his teasing and wholeheartedly shipping Niao Niao and Zisheng. He really love Zisheng as his own by letting him used his chamber for recuperating. Please let the emperor be reasonable and shipping both of them till the end 🙏

Though the ending is a bit... Predictable BUT it is the most statisfied ending after a long run of bad ending drama this year!!!
Kudos to the team, directors, actor and actress's!
It is indeed a dream of splendor until the end. Ok done ranting, gonna go and re watch the drama again (I will have severe withdrawal after this)
