Tong is an orphan in a world where vampires live unseen from regular humans. Mark is a vampire and is tasked with protecting Tong. Tong has the powerful Golden Blood, which is very desired by vampires. After consuming some of Tong's blood, Mark begins to change as a person and the two fall for each other.
The story was very gripping in my opinion and I was excited to see the next episodes. There is a lot of intimacy in basically every episode, and this pairing is a handsome one so it is always entertaining.
I did feel that this drama was too long. 8 episodes would have been enough. The mystery of the Golden Blood was dragged out for too long with vampires wanting it but as a viewer it felt a bit shallow. The ending is not my favorite, although the two make it out alive and live happily ever after.
I also feel like they could have done more with Tong's brother Tongkla as a character. The story focused a lot on Tong and Mark. Overall I recommend this drama but personally I watched it on 1.25 speed to get through the scenes a bit faster.
