Finally a drama where the cross dressing girl looks actually like a boy. The FLs and MLs silly banter keeps you hooked. Also the action scenes are quite good. However, I believe the overall drama didn't live up to expectations. They just started killing off characters in the last 8 episodes. 😂 It's almost like the writer was like "wtf... We need some sob stories at the end" . Anyways this deserves a solid 8.5. P.S Li Wen Zhongs death was probably the most pointless death although I felt really sad for him. The writer did him dirty all the way through

True. He did just decide it by himself. Still should have stayed😂. I mean he was so adament with staying with her at the start. He put up with all the crap he got from her mother and then he went bye bye. I guess her brother's warnings about the ml normally not taking shit from others explains the situation. However I would have loved to see how he would have handled her mother. I watched my fair share mature dramas but this left me with ...well ...a very anticlimactic ending. It was almost like I was watching episode 3 all over again. In my country, there was civil war during the 80s (something related to university students) and during this time, terrorist organizations were running rampant as well. Until 2009 we were fighting terrorists. Now it's corrupt leaders. So actually there hasn't been a good time for my country as such. Suqs to live where I live. Lol

Let's hope she moves there for good and let's hope ml doesn't go abroad like last time. Lol he could have just quit his job and found another place to work at from the get go itself instead of going to the states. Gen Z , born before the 2000s but lucky enough to get a taste of 90s tech. Also watched a lot of 80s series ..like Knight Rider ,viper ..Simpsons ...etc. The 80s and 90s had really cool tech. Hated the VCR tho.

Well, if both of them do start living on Jeju forever, then 'yes' it's a happy ending. If not, "boyyy, here we go again". I really can't see a satisfying ending here. Just an ending that bought them back to 'square 1'. Anyways what gen are you in ? Gen X?

They are kept women tho. And they are glorified sex slaves / baby making machines. That's why it's considered a taboo in most modern societies. Plus, her husband could sentence her to death as punishment for a sin if he wanted to. But he can't do that to his wife. That's how societies worked in the past.

If the drama wants me to feel the angst of the ml and FL ....yes, it made me feel it. I can clearly say that the last 2 episodes boosted that feeling even further. A solid 8.5 for the very successful effort of making me feel annoyed and worried at the same time. The mother tho... 😂 ..she is definitely on another level. All in all the ending didn't feel great. The drama didn't feel great. A wonderful piece of melodramatic artistry where you are left neither happy nor sad. However, if you think that the ending is a happy one ...lol... For me... it's more like ..."boyyy, here we go again"

Google " are concubines married?" I think that's the best way for you to get your answer. When you say married 6 women...you are implicitly calling them his wives.

Lol. Different systems have different laws. However concubines aren't wives. That's why they are called concubines and not wives. It's in the definition. If you want to change the definition, become a dictionary author or a professor in English language. No offense but they aren't wives. If you do call them wives, you're wrong. And the reason is because of definition.

The difference is that they are not legally bound to each other (husband and concubine). Their children are considered illegitimate. Also, the illegitimate children's legal mother is the wife and not the birth mother. The wife brings the dowry but the concubines don't since they aren't wives. Also even if the son of a concubine is older than the son of the husband's main wife, the second son is still considered a higher rank than his older half brother and will probably inherit most of the inheritance.

But still I was expecting a miracle :( but instead they completely erased a character. 😂The irony

Still concubines aren't married. It's there in google, you can Google it. They aren't his wives. Plus the reason why they call him husband is out of respect. They can't call him Mr. ...can they? Since that would mean that they are strangers to him. Wives are married. A good example of having multiple wives but they aren't concubines are Muslims. They can have upto 4 wives. However, there is no limitations on the amount of concubines a Muslim man can have. P.S I'm a Muslim so yeah ...I know what I'm speaking about :)
